Michael Cohen's Congressional testimony

Not that I have any time for Avenatti, I think he is a self-promoting, opportunist scumbag, but do you have any actual evidence that he has committed criminal offences?

Some evidence that Avenatti is a pinnacle of the Democratic Party would be nice too.

Is the question whether Trump is one bad hombre? The answer is absolutely yes.

The thing is that expecting Trump to know about Cohen personal affairs is silly. There are lots are really sleazy lawyers who make millions every single year, and many of them are pinnacles of the Democrat Party. See Madrigan, Burke, Avenatti, etc.

****, Mike Avenatti makes Cohen look like a god damn choir boy.

Think of the monsters the Clintons surrounded themselves with.
Hillary already has a topic.

Trump knew exactly what Cohen and Manafort could offer him.

Still narrating your own story, then?

Psychotherapist Kim Schneiderman has written that illeism can be a way of distancing oneself from traumatic events. Of course, most of the other personality quirks it can signal aren't things you'd boast about...

Thanks so much!

This has to be the best pro-Trump posting that I have ever seen.

This posting goes to show that while nearly all of the pro-Trump people know full well what a POS Trump actually is. However, in spite of their recognition of such an obvious fact, at the same time they are able to completely delude themselves in believing that everyone else is so much worse than Trump.

Therefore, they are much better off with Trump than without Trump because Trump is better than everyone else.

In short, Hillary Clinton was right all along: many of the Trump supporters are deplorable.

Interesting observation from a right wing talk radio host today: (paraphrased)

"You know there was nothing worthwhile from the Cohen hearing yesterday, because it degenerated into the Democrats calling everyone racist."

Although I do not agree with the quote, I do think the Democratic Party and the American left in general could learn a lot by understanding the statement and why it's effective.

The most important thing that came out of the Cohen testimony was not any evidence that anyone might be racist.

Exactly Trumps racism was always obvious and a selling point to republicans, it does not need to be brought up again and again, they are sold on it and it isn't something they would ever hold against him.

The things to focus on are things that would get the republican base to give up on him, and his racism is just not going to be it, just like his sexually assaulting women isn't going to be it. They know and accept those things about him.

I really don't know what they would actually care about though. Clearly obstruction of justice isn't doing it, so what would?

You are right, at least sort of.

The thing is, Donald Trump is the sort of guy who has, all of his life, lived on the margin of the law. Admit it. On a personal level, the guy is pond scum. Right? I mean....Trump University? Can you try to defend the indefensible there? He tiptoes around the law, always trying to stay on the right side of it, and frequently succeeding, with so far only an occasional, or not so occasional, civil suit where he got caught

He gets caught in plenty of criminal suits too, see his money laundering casino for example, or violations of various housing equality laws. He just always settles with no admitting of wrong doing.

Then there is his history as an unindicted co conspirator to violate NY sales tax, but they went after the jewelry store not its customers there.

He never cared to try to stay on the right side of the law, he just was careful about what he could get caught for.

Honestly, the only thing I've learned so far is the unnecessary legal threats against anyone releasing his graders. The tax cheating, philandering, payouts, ties to the Kremlin, the link to Wikileaks/Assange...these are important to get on the congressional record, but already known for a long time now, or absolutely predictable (eg. Jr. telling Dolt 45 about the meeting at Dolt Tower).

And truth told, the only reason his threats over his grades are actually interesting are because of Dolt 45's racist rants about how Obama couldn't have possibly received good grades or test scores. Kinda like how it was amusing when we learned that Dolt 45 doesn't read books, since he was so adamant that Obama's second book was "terrible", and that this means some white guy must have written his first book.

Other than that...good work by AOC, and Meadows' theatrics were amusing. But there have been more interesting allegations - such as Kelly's memo about how he didn't want to give Kushner a security clearance.

This suggestion that we're all "deranged" because we oppose Trump is more an attempt to normalize someone who has told more than 8,000 lies in his first two years in office.

Also to suggest the problem is us people who refuse to eat a feces burger and say "yummie".

In case you are interested, here is just the first of the new legal developments which have at least partly resulted from the recent Cohen testimony:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/04/poli...s-obstruction-justice-jerry-nadler/index.html

House Democrats announce broad probe into allegations of obstruction of justice

(CNN)House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler on Monday announced a sweeping investigation into President Donald Trump's campaign, businesses, transition and administration, a probe that would lay the groundwork for Democrats if they choose to pursue impeachment proceedings against the President.

The Judiciary Committee on Monday sent letters to 81 people and entities -- including the White House, the Justice Department, senior campaign officials, Trump Organization officials and the President's sons — marking the start of a broad investigation that will tackle questions including possible corruption, obstruction of justice, hush-money payments to women, collusion with Russia and allegations of the President abusing his office and using it for personal gain.

...

In addition, Nadler is sending letters and demanding documents from David Pecker, the head of the parent company of the National Enquirer, which engaged in a "catch-and-kill" scheme to keep a story quiet about Trump's alleged affair with model Karen McDougal. Nadler wants all documents tied to "any narrative, personal account, documentation, recording, or photograph" tied to Trump from Pecker's company since 2015.

...

The Department of Justice and the White House also face scrutiny from Nadler. From the White House, Nadler wants a swath of information tied to Russia demanding the White House provide information about contacts with Comey before he was fired as FBI director, details about the firing of Jeff Sessions as attorney general and documents about misleading statements given to the press in 2017 when it was first revealed that Trump Jr. met with Russians during the 2016 campaign.

No way, the Democrat party wants to do a virtually unlimited investigation into a sitting President of the opposite party?

Golly, it really is a witch hunt.

Leave it to the butthurt dems to wipe their ass on the concept of separation of powers.

idiots
