I apologize if this was posted already, This thread is growing fast and if this was posted earlier, I missed it.

The RW website that first started this "broken eye-socket" story is not exactly the most honest in the world. They grabbed a CT-scan of the correct type of imagery and posted it with the story. Someone noticed that the image was labeled as being from the University of Iowa, so the photo was edited to hide that.

So what? He clearly labeled it 'File Image'--you can use the Wayback machine for August 19th and see that it was on there originally too.

Is this idiocy still going around the blogosphere?

There was always a link to the original source image right under the posted image. The source image is unaltered.

Because I've read all the articles and followed along on this thread. The EMTs might have treated Wilson but the police didn't let them near Michael Brown for hours.
Someone with what looks like an aid bag assesses Brown within the first 10 minutes before the white sheet is placed over the body. We know the time frame because there is a 10 minute video shortly after the shooting and the white sheet is finally placed over the body at the end of the 10 minutes.Someone with what looks like an aid bag assesses Brown within the first 10 minutes before the white sheet is placed over the body. We can put the story to rest that Brown's corpse was left unattended for hours on the street after the shooting.

I see. So no trial, just summary execution, and at that point innocent or guilty is no longer relevant.

Yea, I expected that kind of response near verbatim. That is one of the if not the most reprehensible statements that I've ever read from anyone on this Forum

If those are evidence marking cones, I wonder what they are marking? Two of them appear to be beyond Brown's body.

If they are brass from Wilson's pistol, that's very interesting.

I do not have a Sig Sauer 229 (If that's really what he had) nor a .40 Cal, but I do shoot a lot of .45 ACP. One of them throws brass around 10-15' FORWARD and RIGHT of the shooter nearly every time. I depends on the grip to some extent. Looks like that's where they are if my orientation is correct...

Looks like well right and slightly forward in this video. I never see a case land in front on camera, though a couple do seem to go more forward than the rest. None appear to go well forward.

Better example, to the right and slightly rearward:

Except for the fact all the eye witnesses we have heard from are identified and have public statements from the first day. All the supposed stories supporting Wilson's version including all we know about Wilson's version come from friends of friends, unsourced claims, and right wing blogs.

Shouldn't we wait to hear Wilson's version first hand? Not to mention, and more importantly, the physical evidence?

Yep, the in the first they are going forward and right, but rearward in the second. As I said it does depend somewhat on the tightness of the grip, but I have not experimented as I care more where the bullets go than the brass. :D I do retrieve brass, so I only know where they go, but not entirely why.

The cones appear to be pretty far forward of the body in that photo, but it might be a perspective issue. Otherwise, I have no further explanation for that.

Putting the box back could simply be because they were the wrong kind of cigars...
Are you joking or making an incredibly bigoted comment?

We have no idea what he said to the police as far as I know.
Except that he made a public statement with his lawyer present.

Talking to the media first was a very bad idea, especially if he witnessed a murder. It could easily cause his testimony to be discounted if there are differences.
Given that anyone in that situation is going to have a self serving POV to some extent, Johnson comes across as a sincere witness and a nice guy.

A St Louis County police officer working in Ferguson, Missouri in the aftermath of Michael Brown's shooting death has been suspended from duty after disturbing video emerged of him referring to black people as 'little perverts' and President Obama as an illegal immigrant.

Officer Dan Page, who was caught live on CNN News earlier this week pushing the network's anchor Don Lemon and threatening to arrest him, made the hate-filled speech in April of this year during an Oath Keepers of St Louis/St Charles meeting.

His offensive remarks weren't limited to black people - he also had vitriol to spew about Muslims, women who have abortions, gay people and people who suffer domestic violence.
