In significant parts of the US police forces, yes it looks like it.

In many places it is hard to find out -at least in Missouri, the state collects data on vehicle stops, search rates and arrest rates for different ethnicities. There is evidence of racial profiling in that. Not just in Ferguson.

https://ago.mo.gov/divisions/litiga...tops-report---2013-executive-summary#findings

You'll find the similar disparities in places with majority black police forces, like Washington DC for example (which has even greater disparities than Ferguson).

Of course you do, that's called confirmation bias. I was mentioning that in the part you quoted. Did you see it? I can go back and hilite it for you if you'd like. You believe that because you already believe Brown was innocent and nothing will change your mind.

Especially the 5 that you said, they admitted to lying.

I disagree the kill shot is consistent. It might be in your mind, but several professionals have examined the evidence that disagree with you. Considering they are paid professionals that do this type of work for a living, I am going to completely disregard what you say and replace it with reality.

Also, read the evidence again. Those 5...the reason their stories matches is because they discussed them together. Some of them admitted they weren't there, others admitted they got the story from around the neighborhood.

You're basically implying the DoJ is corrupt, so when you can provide evidence that the DoJ is corrupt, get back to me. Remember, there wasn't just the grand jury investigation, there was also the Federal investigation. You're basically saying that both of those investigations were wrong.
Are you seriously claiming I have confirmation bias about that GJ procedure? The frickin prosecutor let a clearly dishonest witness tell everyone she saw Brown charging at Wilson.

 indeed.

This is nothing but the result of a one sided questioning on the stand which was clear from the GJ testimony.

I've been paying attention as much as you have. I found the witnesses that said he was trying to surrender credible. No eye witness is perfect. But five people not only saw a similar thing, the kill shot is consistent with those witnesses.

What prosecutor that wasn't completely biased would have let that one women testify who wasn't there? How corrupt is that?

More people saw Brown not surrender, and their accounts matched the blood splatter evidence, whereas those five witnesses told stories that were contradicted by the forensic evidence and their own prior statements.

The DOJ said they couldn't prove a federal civil rights case. Then they turned around and found the whole department guilty of racism. Wilson was hired after being fired from a department that was so racist it had to be dissolved and rebuilt.

Brown was shot in THE TOP OF HIS HEAD. I'd agree with a negligent homicide charge, but the 'Brown was charging at Wilson' is NOT CREDIBLE.

To think Wilson didn't get off due to favoritism is BS. He got to change his story, had a prosecutor that went out of his way to find him not culpable. That's not confirmation bias, those are established facts.

Unless there was a fair trial, no one can say Wilson was exonerated. Period. No fair trial. Nada.

He was exonerated by the DOJ. Every credible witness confirmed Darren's version of events, or at least the part where Wilson claimed that Brown did not surrender.

Hard to believe anyone is still backing this loser of a case. Brown tried to kill an officer with his own gun, get over the death of that guy already, he signed his own death warrant that day. The fault is his alone that he's dead.

I find it hard to believe anyone is till ignoring the other DOJ report or the role the FPD and County police played in the aftermath of the shooting, but here we are.

Isn't the world a fascinating place?

Personally, I'm still surprised that people refer to someone who witnessed no part of the event as a "witness"\, or that putting a person one knows to be lying front-to-back of the stand as anything but a gross violation of ethics that in any other profession, would lead to certain prison time and permanent banishment from the field.

It's gymnastics to try to continue to make Officer Wilson out to be the bad guy.
Get behind a losing proposition and defend it to the end, that's critical thinking!

Why are the SJWs still hanging their hat on this? I honestly want to know what they seek to gain. A recent case in South Carolina is a much better candidate, why don't they just move on from this one?

The only question I have left about this case is why his father hasn't been charged with incitement.

Because they're not relevant to the shooting. Why not start a separate thread (I would be surprised if their isn't one already) and discuss them?

There is another thread but this thread has also drifted. It happens.

However, I disagree that the systemic racism in the FPD is in no way relevant to the shooting. The context in which something happens is always relevant.

Nor were countless snarky posts about looters and rioters relevant to the shooting. I don't seem to recall you taking offense to those and insisting they be moved to a separate thread.

That's no better than the tired old argument that it happened "because racism". And the behavior of the department after the fact is certainly not relevant to the shooting itself.

I don't see anyone ignoring the DOJ report or the Feguson PD's behavior after the shooting. There has been quite a bit of fallout from that already and I expect there will be more. None of that changes what happened that day, and there are obviously those that will not accept the facts.

Did you? I can't say I'm surprised by your fake outrage on this. Why such an interest in what offends me?

Is the behavior of the department before the fact relevant to the shooting? Because that is what much of the DOJ report covers.
