Michael Avenatti thread

Let's remember what Avenatti the lawyer did to Donald Trump. He exposed Trump's lies to the American public. For all of Avenatti's flaws, he showed the world what a sleazebag Donald Trump was/is. It was Avenatti that brought to light how Trump paid a porn star and a Playboy bunny both 6 figures each to hide his affairs from the American people.

This led to Michael Cohen pleading guilty and implicating the President in illegal acts.

Totally FALSE. Trump ****** up. He committed campaign finance crimes And desperately tried to keep Stormy Daniels from telling her story. It was Avenatti who hammered that story home. Avenatti may not be a good politician but, he certainly exposed the sleazebag in chief for who he is.

For all his flaws, we should be thankful that Avenatti patriotically brought this to light.

What would it take to convince you that Trump is a danger to the US?

As far as I can see, he'll keep pushing the boundaries until stopped.

And no thanks for the invite to that thread. I read the first page and a little into the second, by which time the logical error you were making had been explained pretty well at least three times. I jumped to the last page -- 18! -- to see what could possibly still be an issue, and it seemed you were even more confused than at the beginning. Thing is, I, and many others, have known about what a piece of crap R. Kelly is for years. If you ever watched thew Boondocks, you've likely known. If you remember Aaliyah, you know he married her when she was 15, and produced her first album, titled "Age Ain't Nothing but a Number." People knew him to hang around playgrounds, middle school parking lots, and the like. And I know this, because people have said so, directly. He wasn't what you would call "subtle". And that's why I refused to buy any song with him on it. It's not just that he's a child rapist, it's that even his music sounds like he's hitting on little girls.

I know about the show Surviving R. Kelly - That's an important part of this as well, credit to the people involved with that, I applauded it at the time, I'm not trying to take anything away from their work. In fact, many of the people involved in that series have been after him for *years*, and they generally don't care who joins in, so long as he's away from children. If it's Avenatti, okay.
