McCain tried to destroy the USS Forrestal on purpose!

I have it on good authority that the USS Forrestal doesn't actually exist as carrier cannot actually float or carry aircraft nor did the Vietnam war happen and as a matter of fact Vietnam doesn't even exist.....I'm working on air not existing and should have that done by Tuesday.
We are meant to believe that there was concrete on this so-called ship, just drop a piece of concrete in a bucket of water and you'll soon see whether concrete floats or not!

But if air does not exist, all the breatharians will starve to death. And it will all be your fault.

No, the air will not exist but cans of cream corn may be snorted to replace it.

My Uncle, who has passed away, was on the Forrestal at that time. Is there any way of searching for the crews accounts of the fire or even just a list of the crew so I can verify this?

At sea you run toward a fire, not away from it.
Not much in the way of options at sea. Fight it or...?

Of course, I imagine a limited amount of running away is in some cases appropriate. Such as when you're sitting in an aircraft that can't move and is rapidly becoming engulfed in fire.

The rant blaming McCain for leaving his plane was kind of amusing on that point. What else was he supposed to do, beat the fire out with his map case?

Remember the part where one hose is putting down AFFF and another is washing it away as fast as it's being put down?
Yes. I think that is what happens when some of your DC teams are blown away and you have to rely on less trained personnel.

Another scary movie I watched was about the Bonefish fire. It consisted of a Navy Captain walking about the burned out hull describing the progress of the fire. He didn't pull any punches when discussing why the fire happened.

Aggressive response to fires keep sailors from walking home from work.

Agreed. Being dead doesn't help the rest of the crew fight the fire.

Rationality is not likely in this kind of rant.

The great thing about this group is how they can be counted on, collectively, to remember obscure experiments.

Actually, if they brought up Pykrete, I wasn't aware of it. Your post about concrete made me recall it with no outside influences.

Maybe I'm learning to think too much like the wooers now?;)
