Marilyn Monroe For Senate

Bill Clinton and others pushing for a non-Hollywood candidate:

You know how it is; neither woman is likely to win in an off-year election in a state where Obama lost by over 22 percentage points; this strikes me as a classic "dead girl, live boy" race (as in the incumbent is unlikely to lose unless he is found in bed with one of the above).

It's Kentucky, that's dead horse, live boy.

That can be arranged... ;)

Hopefully, McConnell will be found with one or two of each!!

“After serious and thorough contemplation, I realize that my responsibilities & energy at this time need to be focused on my family” Ashley Judd

Not surprising. It would have been a brutal race. She would have been a lightning rod for a lot of whackos more than most candidates because of her fame and her liberal politics in a pretty conservative state. I doubt she could have won and either way it would have been a tough fight.

Well, back to hoping McConnell has a fatal heart attack.

Just as well. An affair with Ashley is high on my bucket list and Senatorial security has proven tough in the past. Don't get me started on how fast Kristen Gillibrand's security team can run. (I know, but there is slim pickings if you have a female US senator fetish).

She has the advantage of being single and her security team may be inexperienced at fending off non-geriatric stalkers -- but I'll still stick to and pull for my little Ashley Judd scenario to come true.

In the mean time you'll have to pull things yourself I guess.

Or you could practice with Christine O'Donnell. She was almost a senator. Sort of.

If he can get nominated, he will not have enough opposition to bother spitting at. The GOP will continue to destroy itself.

Political predictions four years out are rather dicey. I wouldn't bet on it. I'm not saying that the GOP won't continue destroying itself, but if they get decimated in the mid-term elections they may actually realize they really do have to change.

And looks matter. Joe is aging, another four years isn't going to help.
