Well it's a very small organisation.
I actually met Professor Heap at the DowserDon pre-test a couple of years ago.

But it's a good cause.
I've signed up, I'll post any relevant content from the next newsletter.
I've received my first ASKE newsletter via email, it does indeed include an article about flaccon's application. The email also pointed to a pdf version at a temporary link here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5532250/Intelligencer 2014 1.pdf
which non members should be able to read for a while.
Thanks for the link. This will not deter Flaccon in her beliefs. However, I think it should be noted by any and all "believers" that skeptics are willing to go to great lengths to interpret and test their claims in the most fair manner possible.
C [flaccon] then informed me that on receiving the recording she had not downloaded it but had forwarded it to a friend who would then play it to her over the telephone so she could listen to it prior to D [flaccon's download]. Her friend had then given her a description of its contents, which corresponded to those reported above. This friend was convinced that I had muted the microphone when I made the recording and C was seeking expert opinion on this. I reassured her that the microphone had not been muted. However, she asked for another recording with my voice at the beginning and end and I duly complied, repeating the above procedure.
Disturbing, yes, but not really surprising. If there was any doubt left, it puts paid to the idea that flaccon is far more to be pitied than mocked. She needs help. Was it just me or was the information that FLACCON is deliberately "pricking" herself to draw blood and create more images new and very disturbing?

You are, of course, correct, but in my defense I am frequently stupid.I think you mean that the other way around, unless you really think she should be mocked (or that idiom means the opposite where you are).

And again in your defense it takes an intelligent person to realise when they are being stupid. You are, of course, correct, but in my defense I am frequently stupid.
Thanks Pixel - I was impressed at how Michael Heap didn't give even a hint of the frustration that seems to inevitably accompany attempts to work with Flaccon.
