Wouldn't it be great if someone could just precisely state the claim, along with a simple proposal for testing capable of falsifying that claim?
Yes, but if "someone" could do that, this thread wouldn't be 150 pages long.Wouldn't it be great if someone could just precisely state the claim, along with a simple proposal for testing capable of falsifying that claim?
It's odd isn't it? Hummer has had exactly the same problem in another thread. What is it about these people with claimed special (and yet ultimately useless) abilities that leaves them with a complete lack of ability with (ultimately very useful) hard and software?
I am also looking forward to reading flaccon's account of the weekend's events.

Thanks for that advice Biscuit. Pretty easy to get me to part with cash these days, but the reporter is covering my moves, so I believe the charlatans will give me a wide berth. Thankfully no, the group don't charge for their services. I know folk prey on the desperate but I have to say, if I get out this alive, it's a bonus I'm not expecting. I'd take my chances that this isn't happening if it wasn't for the seriousness, and the evidence of the seriousness..
Run your music collection through your device. Look for the subtle clues of voices crying out in abject hope. Clarity can be had when you amplify the signal; I guarantee an offer of employment with a blank cheque *.I'm stunned that you're not battering down my door to engage us already.
I wonder how much money there is to be made in PI....I have a garage full of old junk that can be turned into devices![]()
This latest scheme is just like the DNA test you thought would connect you genetically to Jesus
I certainly hope so. Sadly, we all know that flaccon's response to the ASKE representatives' inability to hear spirit voices will be to go back to square one and seek validation elsewhere. Eventually she'll find some clueless "ghost hunter" with no understanding of pareidolia, confirmation bias etc who'll hear what they're told to hear; and at least one newspaper will lap it up, if it's only the local rag. Meanwhile flaccon's family will be dragged deeper into her delusions.
The really tragic thing about all this is that spirit voices struggling to deliver earth-shattering revelations are only the tip of the iceberg. Flaccon's obsession with demons capable of causing physical harm to people and property is far more disturbing, especially when it's infected her children and grandchildren.
It indicates no such thing.Sadly Alice, it infects all children. The fact that I take the time to reply to posts that I'd rather not encourage, might indicate to you that it is more serious than your assumptions.
