Looking for Skeptics

Please keep it real. I can't match that. $200 is my max. I wish I had more, I'd give it away. Are you serious? If you are I'll sort this tomorrow. What constitutes as a pass? (I was nearly going to bed then)

You don't have to put up any money. It's not a bet. I'll just pay it out.

A pass would be the name and credentials of a member of the mainstream press (any print newspaper with a circulation over 100,000 or any TV broadcast news with ratings of 400,000 viewers). Online media doesn't count, nor does cable access. That person must confirm to me that he/she has interviewed your family with the intention of running a story on the voice of your father being heard by paranormal means. The story MUST NOT include the views of skeptics who refute your claims.

You have 70 hours from right now.

Seems solid to me. Any objections?
Yes, I have one. flaccon will never, ever complete an objective, blinded test. She has proven that in this thread since June 1, 2013. All any discussion of tests with flaccon simply result in hand-waving, obfuscation and goal-post moving.

By this time, talk about objective tests is actually counterproductive.

Yea, I know. I've posted almost an exact copy of your reply several times in this thread. In fact, I've gone so far as to state that even if Tracy miraculously did agree to a valid test, she would simply dismiss the results away as the work of the Dark Forces, or something like that. I keep trying anyway, for some reason.

Flaccon, have you shown the reporters or investigators the recording that you seem to think is spirit voices saying "Thats right Tracey, God can be offended, please come out and die," but that the rest of us all think is a perfectly ordinary radio ad for a record store? Because I would be very interested in their reaction to that. And remember, no telling them what you think it says first...

Same as yesterday. Appointment with ASKE this Sunday at 2pm.
I don't know what you mean by "Same as yesterday", the throwaway comment I queried was the first mention you've made of either ASKE or Sunday since bumping the thread.

As it appears to be impossible to get any facts out of you about anything I have emailed ASKE for more details.

I hope you get a good response, it'll be interesting to know what they say.

Tracey, you mention the press may I ask what sort of journalist you've got involved. Is he freelance, work for one of the big papers or a local rag? Is it someone who writes the odd article for a specialist journal? As you seem reluctant to give us a name this information could be useful in determining their reliability.

I don't need help with a protocol. I had to move on from there.

Example;
Message date-stamped 30th Sept (Rob's PC)
"If you listen, - - - - - - will soon get pregnant"
Message date-stamped 12th Oct (New PC) "Tracey, - - - - - 's pregnant"
Actual announcement of pregnancy - 22nd Oct.

Example.
Message date-stamped 16th Jan -
"A bolt of lightening striking.. a brazillian statue"

Example. Message date-stamped August 2013
"They're gassing the people"

These would be a lot more convincing if they had been posted before the events they could be retrofitted to.

How do more examples of pareidolia show it isn't pareidolia?

A good question, Pixel42.
I myself question the internally 'smashed' diamonds.
Firstly because there's no evidence the stones in question are actually diamonds and secondly because there's no evidence the stones weren't flawed in the first place.

Are ASKE the "paranormal investigators" involved with "the press"?

What newspaper/tv channel is "the press"?

As ever it's difficult to tease out the actual facts from her posts, but my impression is that the "paranormal investigators" coming to her home on Friday are not ASKE, who she is meeting with on Sunday.

What newspaper/tv channel is "the press"?
So far she has refused to say.

Pixel, I'm not sure why you are emailing ASKE regarding my claim. If they give you any information at all I'll be surprised. I said I'll be meeting a couple from the organisation this Sunday at 2pm, that's as much fact as I know so far regarding ASKE.. Can you possibly stop directly contacting the people I'm dealing with? They do have all the information required.

I asked only for confirmation that a meeting is indeed taking place.

If you would state the facts in a straightforward manner instead of making obscure off hand comments and then pretending, when queried, that the matter had already been explained it would not be necessary to seek out those facts for ourselves. Getting actual information out of you is like trying to get blood from a stone.

No, I did write it clearly but the post may have gotten overlooked. The P.I team are investigating this Friday, ASKE paranormal challenge meeting is for this Sunday at 2pm. The reporter is aware of the ASKE challenge, although his presence is not required until the actual test has been drawn up.

You said that an unidentified group of paranormal investigators was visiting you on Friday and later made an offhand reference to a meeting with ASKE (who are paranormal investigators) on Sunday. Asking whether the two groups were the same group was a perfectly reasonable question which certainly had not already been answered.

Reno Researchers Inc would have confirmed your voices by now if you had only hired us flaccon. Perhaps our equipment list is lacking for your specific needs.

So, I have a load of old wood and some nails in the garage. I will attempt to fashion some crosses to add to our gear. I am taking my gf away to a hotel for Valentine's on Friday, and I'll attempt to procure some Gideons bibles from the hotel drawers.

With these miraculous additions to our gadgetry, how could you possibly not want to hire us? Would it help to know that I have personally had coverage (write-ups and photographs) in our local press on a number of occasions?

ETA: I know a friendly priest who might bless the crosses if they need to have some holy power imbued upon them?

You may think there is nothing unusual that my Father's voice is coming through this PC, and a PC in Notts (et' al) Robin told me he'd uploaded one where a voice was clearly heard *You think your breath is complicated" That's my Father, no imagination, no set up, that's for real. I don't actually blame you for not believing all this, its gets more crazy as it unfolds, and it is still unfolding, leaving stacks of new evidence behind.

Your recollection is incorrect or, perhaps rather more likely, you are seriously embellishing your story.

Scrappy shared with us the recording which you and he say "clearly" says "you think your breath is complicated". The recording is noisy and contains a very indistinct voice.

When everyone else was allowed to listen to it without being told in advance what scrappy thought the words were, everyone came up with completely different words.

This seems to be a bit of a running theme: you claim to have clear recordings, but any that you allow us to hear are so indistinct that nobody can agree (without prompting) on what the voices actually say. I am sorry to say that you do appear to be an unreliable witness who embellishes her story to the extent that it becomes frankly worthless as evidence. This is why we were keen for you to try a method of testing your spirit voices which is entirely objective.

How about a game of flash cards? seems less complicated? If the spirits allow me to show you an image, and you guess what it is? I'll start with my fave. Actually it's a tiny part of a bigger picture, but lets start with easier images. You up for that?

I thought the "spirits" didn't do "card tricks"?
