OK Vortigern I admit it. It is a carnival show and we are being trolled.
The timing is spot on though

"And on that bombshell, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to end. Good night!"
Alderbank ? where has this rumour come from Tracy has never said that . How come you continue to misunderstand her phone conversations with you , it's beginning to look deliberate .
It is indeed. Mind you I always did think that underneath it all flaccon was a wind-up merchant. Oh well back under the Silver Jubilee Bridge at Runcorn/Widnes![]()
She (supposedly) wrote up that entire website and had a Jref member to her house to hear carefully cataloged recordings of white noise as some sort of elaborate trolling exercise/practical joke?
Tuxcat, I merely offered Alderbank my land line out of repect.
He's saying that you're deliberately misunderstanding flaccon. He never bothers to quote the post he's replying to but this was your last post:As you can see from all the different posts, yes we believe it is deliberate.
Tux, come down to earth. You are addressing this to someone who makes an audio file by sticking a blob of chewing gum over the webcam
If there was any doubt remaining, "scrappy"'s most recent posts make it abundantly clear that we are being trolled.
1.Suddenly appears on-line within moments of the OP logging out.
2.Writes in vague, syntactically inscrutable language.
3. Ignores repeated requests for clarification.
4. Alternately spells correctly and mis-spells certain words ("bin" but sometimes "been").
5. Presents self as spokesperson for OP, somehow knowing OP's thoughts and minute-by-minute activities without any explanation.
I'm sure there are other hints. This is a carnival sideshow, people.![]()

So he seems to be saying that flaccon has never said this is how she makes her recordings. I can't be bothered to go back and look, but I'm pretty sure she's confirmed this is how she makes them on this thread.
I think that rather than a troll, we are dealing with a very disturbed individual.
As this thread spirals into the train wreck we all suspected, I suspect your are correct.

Flaccon phonend today at dinner time, and informed me that she had finely retrieved JFishers recordings . She claims 2 of the recordings have altered . I nipped home and checked JFishers recordings on my laptop , and there is definate change within the recordings I have here . JFisher original recordings should now have significant differences . Flacc is requesting that JFisher sends her a silent recording volume up ,without those rain noises .
I will be generating the file in short order.
By the way, the original files I sent are unaltered. Qualitatively, they sound the same as before, and quantitatively, the MD5 hashes are unchanged.
Really? Why do they care? They don't occupy this world-they are spirits. World events don't affect them in the slightest. They will continue to be spirits regardless.Biscuit, the spirits claim that they are here to change the world for the better, before its blown to bits .
JS fisher, on file titled volumeup does the recording not go silent at 21 seconds for 6 seconds. At o38 seconds do you not hear the name Robin ? . When I initially played your file it did not have these alterations like it does now .
The problem with pareidolia is that once you've seen/heard something which you find meaningful in the noise it's impossible to unsee/unhear it. It's the same with the people who think they see the image of the Virgin Mary in a cheese sandwich or whatever; no matter how obvious it is to anyone else that it's just noise which happens to bear a chance resemblance to a figure, to the person who has interpreted it as the Virgin Mary it will always be the Virgin Mary, and those who won't accept that are being deliberately obtuse.Or perhaps... when you first listen to a file you hear nothing of note on it. But when you replay it over and over trying to get some meaning from it, at some point your brain creates something out of the random sounds.
