This will not rule out pareidolia, this will not confirm there are voices on the recordings, and this will not confirm the voices are spirits. Why are you doing it?

We want to help you test if this is an actual spirit/paranormal event, please help us help you.

So far all the evidence points to a mundane explanation but there is more that can be done.

I think it was a smart move to shut down the website. Now lets get to the bottom of this. Please ask the spirits what they can do to verify their existence to us mere mortals. Ask them how they are speaking to you. Explain what you mean when you talk about your fingers please.

Biscuit, a pre-recorded file shouldn't be able to be altered should it?

They way it began. Me and Kate were watching TV (Nov 93') Vic was due home at 7.30pm. At 6pm the front door opened and closed behind itself. We saw a shadow through the (frosted glass panel) living room door. Assuming it was Vic, he stamped off the wet leaves on the mat and walked straight up the stairs opposite. I asked Kate to go up stairs and ask if Vic wanted a hot or cold drink. I went into the kitchen and Kate went up stairs. She called to him and got no reply. I asked her to go ALL the way up and ask, and she came down a bit scared. No one there. I called from the bottom of the stairs, and then went up, thinking maybe he's had bad news or something. Bedroom door was open, light was on. There was no one there, I checked everywhere. I came down stairs, checked the mat, it wasn't wet. Kate was now terrified, I asked her to continue as normal. She washed the dishes, and I sat between the open front door, the stairs, and the kitchen. Vic arrived home at 7.30pm.

I explained to Vic what had happened. He went up stairs and searched thoroughly. He didn't believe us, and we wern't to mention it. I asked Kate to mention it to no one, and we put the incident behind us. We had mischief happen for 9 weeks. We put certain unexplainable accidents down to just that. We carried on as usual.

9 weeks later, Kate me and Vic are settling down for TV, and someone came running down the stairs and let themselves out, closing the door behind. Vic immediately jumped up to see who it was, and no one was out there. I was relieved he saw it leave. As it left, the air felt instantly lighter.

Nothing else happened in that house, but we moved from there in May 95.

That's your best example?

How old was Kate at the time?

Wasn't the thread called 'I can see pictures of demons' and the member was called punshhh or something?

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong one.

ETA: Sorry I may have the wrong one; Fairies in my photograph this is what I found.

According to my signature, your spelling is correct if you have the right guy.

ETA:I'm thinking the quote is from a UFO thread, not sure. It just killed me.

If you compress the file to email it then yes it can. Why does it matter? What do you think this test of yours will prove?

What do you mean when you talk about your fingers?

I still can't find it, so if you can when you get to a real computer, please let us know.

It wasn't punnsh. The member was definitely called "ican" something though no such name is in the member listing.

Still on my cell phone, but I tried a search anyway with no luck. I recall he started with the claim that the demon faces were first noticed in photos of his curtains or draperies. I fear thd thread has not been saved.

I believe that spirits may be communicating with us through cloud formations. As a test of my claim, I'd like to see how many people can independently see a face in this picture. If enough viewers can confirm it, there will be too many folks involved to attribute the phenomena to mere pareidolia.

I see this

I think the original thread was lost, but he came back as "LightPiercingDarkness".

See above.

Maybe Apple Corp® made him change his forum name due to breach of copyright when they introduced their new internet savvy fizzy pop container?

I searched and found several references to a "IcanSeeDemons", with the sort of comments I hear on this thread about him, but no actual posts of his. Suddenly I'm afraid to dig deeper...:covereyes

ETA: I see AdMan had it covered...

That's not so. I tried a recording on a friends Samsung laptop, using my speakers, and the recording was totally silent other than a small speaker hiss.

If no one sends me a silent recording, I will have one by tonight, and look into it later.

If I was to press play on a transferred file, and the spirits could manipulate that file, then I could send it back to the sender, altered.

Why isn't this important enough to you to learn something about how the technology works?

Wear sunglasses. My eyes hurt.

Well, obviously. It's a 90s homemade website. :D

This guy saw demon faces in photos taken in the dark in his basement.

Of course it was pareidolia from compression and other artifacts from by his camera and maybe his software, nothing more, nothing less.

But the more he looked at those vague splotches of noise, the more he saw faces.

Our brains are wired to recognize patterns, in what we see and what we hear and experience. It's evolved in us, because it's usually helpful, and unlikely to be dangerous.

We need to understand we are all prone to this.

Also:

If you look at enough random splotches, a few might actually be distinctly recognizable patterns due only to simple mathematical distribution.

I managed to ask a friend to send me 2 silent recordings. Playback revealed one voice. The Priests name is heard on one, and a sentence on the other. I sent him the files back to see if they had altered, he won't find out until he purchases speakers tomorrow.
His listening to the files will yield NO information. I hope he didn't waste his money on speakers that he (apparently) didn't need.

The only real way to test if the files have be altered is to use audio analysis tools. Simply listening is too crude a test. Plus it involves someone making a judgement about something that is - in your latest claim as opposed to earlier claims -hard to heard and takes repeated trials.

This is, flaccon, just one more exercise in distraction, delay and dissemble. You have been provided numerous tests that have the potential to offer insight into this matter. After all this time, that you refuse to engage in such tests tells me far more than all diversions you have tried.
