London's "No-Go" areas.

How such lies get started:

"A Christian Nation cannot put up a Christmas scene of the baby Jesus in a public place, but the Muslims can stop normal traffic every Friday afternoon by worshiping in the streets [of NY]… Something is happening in America that is reminiscent of what is happening in Europe . This is Political Correctness gone crazy…"

The reality:

"The photos were taken in New York City but this is not a weekly event. Once a year the Muslim Foundation of America organizes a Muslim Day Parade event that includes a gathering of Muslims at the corner of Madison Ave and 41st Street for Zahur prayer."

This has been an annual event since 1985 and the 25th annual event is slated for September 26, 2010."

And the annual event is ongoing.

So, maybe not totally unlike St Patrick's Day, or something.

Very unlike - public urination and puking seems to be one of the great St. Patrick's day traditions.

The Italians love their Columbus day celebrations and even in PC heaven S.F. we shut down the streets for Columbus Day:

Thinking about it, I'm sure there are no go areas described in that documentary series. And all within the M25.

Many people say that, although they’ve never been there themselves. A no-go area?

First of all, Penge is so bland that plenty of people will have been there without ever realising it. They won't have noticed. Secondly, the only reason to go there deliberately is if you live there.

There was a quirky little book published many years ago called Penge Papers which probably gave Penge the only publicity it has ever had.

Meanwhile, in other news:

BBC News: Hate crimes - Rise in offences linked to religious beliefs

"There has been a surge in hate crime directed at people because of their religious beliefs, new figures show.

Police in England and Wales say there has been an increase of 40% compared with last year's figures.

Most religious hate crime - 52% of all offences - was aimed at Muslims."

Which, considering Muslims make up less than 5% of the population, is quite impressive for Baylor's fellow travellers.

Official Statistics: Hate crime, England and Wales, 2017 to 2018

Table B1: Number and proportion of religious hate crimes recorded by the police1, by the perceived targeted religion, 2017/18

Numbers and percentages - England and Wales, recorded crime

Christian|264|5
Hindu|58|1
Jewish|672|12

Other|311|5
No religion|237|4

Bloody Buddhists. Typically failing to pull their weight as victims. Stop chanting and start getting targeted.....
