Lindsay Lohan: Wanted Fugitive

Movies like that are generally helped by negative press. Anything to draw attention to it.

On a completely unrelated note, I went to basic training with a guy named "Kevin Lovelace" who claimed to be Linda Lovelace's son.

Nah, the problem is producers might not want to pay the huge fee that getting a completion bond..a sort of insuranace policy for the film's backers that if the production is cancelled during production, they will at least get something back..for any film with Lohan in the leading role will cost. Most studios will not touch Lohan for that very reason...insurance is too high for someone whose box office draw is nil. There was a lot of speculation from day one this was a publicity stunt by the producers, and in the end they would drop Lohan and go with another more bankable..and insurable...actress.
ANyway, the delay will cost them millions of dollars, even without the insurance problems.

Oh, promoting a movie before production starts is SOP....many stars do it.
The thing is Lohan went to Cannes for the annoucement (although it was leaked to the press beforehand of course) the she had the role.The announcement was never made. Huge difference between that and a star promoting a movie for which he is signed and which will soon start shooting. In fact, pre production news conferecnes with the Cast are SOP nowdays. What Lohan was doing was entirely different.

Hope this doesn't derail the thread (although its not like there is any serious discussion here), but I assume you were skeptical about his claim.

After all, "Linda Lovelace" was a stage name/alias. Her real last name was 'Boreman', and I don't think she ever married anyone with the real last name 'Lovelace'.

The real kicker is that the judge is not letting her go out of LA for any reason whatsoever. I would not be surprised if Lohan loses the Linda Lovelace role .

Only problem is, the movie studio has stated that there are no movie shoots involving Lohan in Texas scheduled for next month.

She was in France when she knew she had a hearing that week. She missed her alcohol course. She lied about movies that had she was going to act in. These are too many strikes against her. I am not happy with the way this Judge handled this. If this was anybody else, they would be sitting in jail right now with no bail. She is obviously showing the court that she isn't being responsible enough to handle her conditions of probation.

I saw her in South Beach once. She was waay-haaay-haaaasted. She was surrounded by like 3 enormous bodyguards and she was dancing like this: :dc_O_o:

One would think that a person who could afford three bodyguards could hire a driver and not got arrested for drunk driving.

I didn't know about her real name, but the entire platoon was skeptical of his claim. The only reason I remember him was that it seemed to be an odd thing to lie about.
 
I don't know why the studios are worried about her going to jail. They just paint her cell walls green and CG out the prison jumpsuit. Then they could place her in any movie they want.

SHe was out partying unitl 2 Am last night.
Yes she was only drinking Red Bulls, but the point is she is not breaking the habits or getting away from the bunch of enablers who got her into this mess. She has learned nothing. This is not going to end well.
 
Don't worry, she has a part in Willie Nelson's new picture, and he'll be a good influence on her.
 
My niece and nephew put on Herbie fully loaded for my toddler son at the weekend, and I got stuck making sure he didn't wander off for the entire movie.

I can't remember every part, probably because of the damage caused by thrusting the coat hanger repeatedly in to my brain, but if she wasn't arrested for crimes against humanity for that movie, what's a little drinking and lying between friends(/judges)?
