Gee, last time I heard...last summer, when it happened to a friend of mine...if you lose your passport you go to an US embassy, establish your identity as a US Citizen (something I presume Lohan could do very easily) and the embassy issues you temporary documents that get you home, and it usually only takes a couple of hours.
To make it better, Lohan claims her father had her passport stolen in a conspiracy against her.
I have a gut feeling that even the Celeb Friendly LA County COurt system is gonna get tough with Lohan this time. Can you say "Flagrant Contempt of Court"?
 
THe judge and the LA Country DA are not amused, I can tell you that from their statements.
 
Soooo... how exactly how many ways did Lohan screw up?

- Claims her passport was stolen, yet according to the article in the OP, some french police are claiming she never reported the theft

- Flying into an area where a volcano is disrupting air traffic probably isn't the smartest thing to do

- Even if she had made it back in time, she probably wouldn't have been able to finish her required 'alcohol classes', so she'd still be breaching probation

Its like watching a slow motion train wreck. You keep thinking "I just want her to go away", but you can't help but watching and seeing what happens.

Maybe when she's there she can stop by and visit Roman Polanski. (No, wait, she's probably too old for him.)
 
And something tells me that the fee for a completion bond for a film starring Lohan just went through the roof. I would bet that the Linda Lovelace role is gonna fall through for her.

I have to LOhan off the hook for that. Air Traffic was back to normal when she flew to Cannes.
But she is stupid enough to try to use it for an excuse......

Was it? I've seen some reports showing cancellations around May 16th. (http://www.timesofmalta.com/article...isery-as-volcanic-ash-keeps-everyone-guessing)

Of course, even if traffic was back to normal, there is still a risk that the volcano may still erupt at an inopportune time.
 
Why are we even talking about this. isnt this an educational foundation not a de-educational foundation

OK, why did the site just both convert my own all-capitals word into all-lowercase, AND do the same to the one I was quoting, even though it didn't happen in the original post I got the quote from? (It took what I actually entered and I gave each word one or two lowercase letters and left the rest capital, but wouldn't take ALL-capital without changing it for me to ALL-lowercase.)

And it let me capitalize "and" and "all" for emphasis in this post...

Um, I guess the admiralty court considers AND and ALL to be legal entities.

Weird. Let me try: ARE THERE THINGS THAT CAN, AND OTHER THINGS THAT CANNOT BE CAPITALIZED?

Ah, I see. If your whole post* is all caps, it makes it all lowercase. Otherwise, no problem.

*Not counting quotes.
