So true.Well at least he didn't let them down.
Good thing we have Democrats as a counterbalance to the insanity.Binary thinking, a default trait of the neocons is bad biswacks.

Not my point. Nice strawman though.Yes, Illinois democrats are working very hard to shield Blagojevich from scrutiny.
Huh? I have admitted errors on this board. In this case, I am still waiting to see a Stewie bit on Obama that is actually insulting, derogatory, or is mercilessly embarassing.
I don't think there will be a lack of material....You know how the Daily Show starts with real incidents, then makes fun of them? That job was soooo much easier when Bush and his buddies were in the daily headlines and news leads. Simply a matter of more and better material to work with.
Free markets don't threaten you if you don't purchase a product. Really, Obama's scheme of forcing everyone to have health care is basically a new tax because eachj person will have to pay for it individually. In effect, it's a tax on being alive. I never thought even the Democrats would be that bold...What Rush Limbaugh and DrBaltar missed was that Obama's healthcare plan doesn't involve socialised healthcare at all. His plan is to make health insurance mandatory, which is as free market a healthcare system can proposed to be without having a hole in your head.
Doesn't it make you dizzy, doing that?In effect, it's a tax on being alive.

.Or, in a decidedly more positive light, you could see it as an acknowledgement that we are, in fact, responsible for each other's welfare...

Hospitals are not allowed to turn away anyone in need of emergency care just because they can't pay. Who do you think pays for that care? Are we?

... but I suppose Universal Health Care is a subject for another thread.

When you do that, let me know.Making insightful comments? No, I don't get dizzy from doing that.

This was, it seems to me, the sentiment of a lot of folks when Bush took office. They wanted him to fail.
Limbaugh's point is a bit black and white. It assumes that all of Obama's policies can only be bad for America. Everyone one of them. This is obvious nonsense. Had Limbaugh said that he hopped that Obama would fail in specific instances then I could understand it better. As it is I detest this kind of thinking whether it is from the left or the right.
(source)“I think Obama wants me to fail,” Limbaugh said. “President Obama, by telling you and the elected Republicans in Washington to not listen to me because I am not how things get done in Washington, he has said that he wants me to fail.”
WTF?(source)
um.... If Limbaugh "failing" means we can actually get some bipartisanship compromise going, then ...yes?
