Why on earth would you compare government agencies with for-profit companies?`

Yeah, the very next line is:
Do you live in Tennessee? I don't. Are all alcohol sales carry out in Tennessee? Nope. I bought many beers in Tennessee a few months ago and never had to show ID.
Your graphic is lying. Intentionally.
Do you want to move to the next lie or stick with this one?
If they perform the same role, why not?
Gotta keep the façade full and in place! Gotta keep peddling the lie about how great (rah! rah!) capitalism is and how bad (boo! hiss!) government is, as the First Great Dear Leader Reagan had preached from on high. Why on earth would you compare government agencies with for-profit companies?`

a hotel and your parents both provide food and a room.
But your parents have less evolutionary pressure to improve efficiency or effectiveness.
I'm not saying you are wrong, but you gleaned far more from these hearings than I did. I may need to rewatch them.
Kavanaugh didn't get his beer from his parents' fridge.
My bold. Wrong.
2017 ORS 811.550¹
Places where stopping, standing and parking prohibited:
(5) Within an intersection. Exemptions under ORS 811.560 (Exemptions from prohibitions on stopping, standing or parking) (4) to (7) are applicable to this subsection.
(6) On a crosswalk. Exemptions under ORS 811.560 (Exemptions from prohibitions on stopping, standing or parking) (4) to (7) are applicable to this subsection.
Can you link to Portlands codes concerning crosswalks and pedestrian traffic? Mine link was the state laws. If the quote above is the same, it's illegal to stop/stand in a crosswalk or intersection. (on foot, or in a vehicle)
https://www.portlandoregon.gov/transportation/article/70893
Please cross-check. You have to find one section that defines an intersection, even without crosswalk demarcation, as a crosswalk. All crosswalk rules apply. Drivers who have a turn light have to yield to pedestrians. Period.
Oh, and they refer to ORS throughout. This is the Oregon law so your previous cites were misinterpretation. Just read the first few sections.
I assume you drive. Do you know of any jurisdiction where taking a turn doesn't require you to yield to oncoming(straight through) traffic whether vehicular or pedestrian?
I've written them to get clarification on the issue of blocking crosswalks and intersections, and what my rights might be as a pedestrian and as a driver in those situations. Will post the reply as it comes.

Are you looking for a second opinion? You have the link and the law is stated pretty clearly. Which part are you having trouble with?

??? Nonsense, private postal services, private doctors, private buses, private.....they never do.
??? and this relates to the government how? It makes much less sense to compare government or private business to parents.a hotel and your parents both provide food and a room.

Typical. Christine Ford was in the news all day every day for weeks. The ultimate victim who must be believed. Now that she is no longer "useful" to the Left, "pfffft," gone in a puff of smoke.
