Where we differ is I don't see any of the LEGO sets are an endorsement. They are fictional, so actually they'd be a statement that the sets were of fictional themes.Really? And endorsement and celebration of woo-woos?
I suppose you could say that a lot of the sets are toy versions of real life like police, fire, homes, cities and the like. But fiction rather than an endorsement is how I viewed your post.
Yeah, you'd need a lot of elaborating because there are lots of ghosts and aliens in LEGO toys.Well, perhaps I should have elaborated more on how the sets would have championed the existence of spirits as a reality, as much as their NASA sets claim the space vehicles are reality, or something. Maybe that would have riled people up, more.
You might have been able to make the case the sets promoted woo, but it would be really hard. I'm not seeing it.Would you have felt angrier if I claimed they were making sets out of Uri Gellar or Sylvia Browne? I opted not to do that, this time, because I felt it would be a bit too unbelievable, and too on-the-nose for this forum. ...
But think of all the fun you'll have coming up with something for next year.
