LEGO Sets Honoring Woo-Woos?!

Really? And endorsement and celebration of woo-woos?
Where we differ is I don't see any of the LEGO sets are an endorsement. They are fictional, so actually they'd be a statement that the sets were of fictional themes.

I suppose you could say that a lot of the sets are toy versions of real life like police, fire, homes, cities and the like. But fiction rather than an endorsement is how I viewed your post.

Well, perhaps I should have elaborated more on how the sets would have championed the existence of spirits as a reality, as much as their NASA sets claim the space vehicles are reality, or something. Maybe that would have riled people up, more.
Yeah, you'd need a lot of elaborating because there are lots of ghosts and aliens in LEGO toys.

Would you have felt angrier if I claimed they were making sets out of Uri Gellar or Sylvia Browne? I opted not to do that, this time, because I felt it would be a bit too unbelievable, and too on-the-nose for this forum. ...
You might have been able to make the case the sets promoted woo, but it would be really hard. I'm not seeing it.

But think of all the fun you'll have coming up with something for next year.

I'm still hoping and waiting for a LEGO set of Dungeons and Dragons.

On the one hand it might bankrupt me, but on the other hand, building LEGO dungeons.

I figured there would be a perceptible difference between clearly fictional ghosts and basing toys on real life claimants that would be sufficient to spark outrage. But, I guess I underestimated the tolerances of skeptics around here.

That great tradition of pranking or hoaxing friends and family, a practice that dates back to the 14th century, is a long-standing one in the LEGO community – and the popularity of Star Wars is often cause for it to take the brunt of people’s practical jokes.
Aprilsnar, Alle Sammen! (HolobrickArchives, April 1, 2021)
The title is Danish for April Fools, Everybody!

Over the years, there have been several April Fools' pranks involving LEGO in Denmark. This one about a TV host becoming the CEO of Legoland: Ny Legoland-direktør, grænsemur og statsbesøg: Fangede du de her fem lokale aprilsnarre? (TVSyd, April 1, 2017)

Agreed. Next they'll be coming for Stephen King for promoting the paranormal.
