Oh brave souls indeed. I got about as far as halfway down the page, when I realized that utterances like
we still might not have went to the moon lol
put me so far behind the educational curve that I'll never catch up. With so many inspired geniuses channelling the wisdom of Joseph Smith, what hope is there for pikers like us?

Indeed, why have scientists at all with their limited worldly wisdom when we can sit at the feet of the Prophets and drink in the Wisdom of the Ages.

(Please tithe at the door)

Do you believe in BY's Adam-God view?
Deliberate or mistaken misquotations of President Young have misled some. Many have also not understood his actual meanings, or have wrongly speculated upon them. Brigham died before he could clarify what has come to be know as the "Adam-God theory". Only future revelation can now do so. The Adam for this earth was Michael, known in the pre-existance as the Arch Angel... but there have been many Adams and Eves on countless other planets. This higher learning is not given nor taught previous to the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and revealed Scriptures being known, understood and accepted.
President Spencer W. Kimball said:
"We warn you against the dissemination of doctrines which are not according to the scriptures and which are ALLEGED to have been taught by some of the General Authorities of past generations. Such, for instance, is the Adam-God theory. We denounce that theory and hope that everyone will be cautioned against this and other kinds of false doctrine."

Janadele -

What are your thoughts about the many, many Christioan organizations and churches that say, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is neither Christian, nor is it a Chuch of Christ neither does it contain any saints?

They say it is nothing but a cult, and a tool of the devil.

Well that's just contradictory, bizarre and hilariously strange.

Are you saying the General Authorities have no general authority?

If you cannot trust the word of your very Prophets, who can you trust?

Before reading post 8166 I had never heard of CJCLDS, on checking I see it is a not an official LDS web site.

You are still dodging the question.

What gives Mormons the "right" to impose their beliefs upon others?

What gives Mormons the "right" to keep Non-Mormon homosexuals from marrying each other?

What gives Mormons the "right" to keep Non-Mormon lesbians from marrying each other?

deaman... I have no interest in criticising other Christian Churches, though some may be misled at times by Lucifer, the Spirit of Christ is with them in the majority of their teachings.

Wait, your saying they can be both correct (led by Christ), and misled (by Satan) at the same time?

How are you, or your church, any different?

What happened to:

Does a well of water give good water and bad water from the same place? Can a fig tree give olives or can a grape-vine give figs? A well does not give both good water and bad water.

Can't God keep anything straight! (Oops, no pun intended.)

Were there Joesph Smiths on those other planets?

Seriously? You have never heard of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? That's just weird.

That's nice.

So BY said it in General Conference, when he was prophet, but...hey wait! That's wrong! He died before he could make an even bigger ass out of himself, so we'll just hand-wave that one away.

I get that your church wants to deny past oopsies. Perfectly reasonable. What's not so reasonable is that the members let them get away with it.

It makes me happy that believers keep posting this stuff, as there cannot possibly be any finer advertisement AGAINST organized religion then the weak arguments and no evidence presented here.

If I was God, I'd be pissed.

In fact, I'd send a prophet....oh wait.
