I myself look for the lessons that are behind scripture. I don't take as an intellectual may? What was the end result because of what happened. Cause and effect mentality. I would say an applicable interpretation of scripture is more important to me than just taking it as liturature!Those words are your own. You said:

What is a lesson? Isn't it something we learn because of what we studied or learned from experience?? Maybe you guys just can't relate to the way I am expressing myself. It's the applicable interpretation that has significance to me. I do not consider myself a theologian at all. Just a student of the word.
