Kamala Harris is smart. Like Obama was/is smart. Trump, of course, is just a joke, a half-witted (if malevolent) circus clown; but Biden didn't really come across as particularly smart, did he --- not smart per se, even if more than adequate for his job as Prez, and actually an Einstein when compared to Trump.
I think it is the stark stark contrast with Trump, and to a lesser extent with Biden as well, that makes Kamala stand out so.

Last two appearances, she's been very good. I'm hopeful.

I dont' think he is a fascist. Racist, I think he doesn't give a ****. He likes rich men and pretty women, race doesn't factor in except where it advantages him. He panders to racist, which is kind of worse. Rape, the women he raped didn't know it until she was told but her friend. I also don't think you or anyone else actually cares about that. If he were a dem accused of rape, that's just trailer trash, drag a dollar through a trailer park and you'll find a dozen.
And to be clear, mostly I don't think anyone cares about any of it, so its insincere. They use it as a bludgeon against those they don't like and ignore it when it's their side or make excuses. A rep makes some off color remark, dog whistle or worse, a lefty wears black face, well, that was a different time.

There's plenty of people who call this out. In fact, part of the reason a lot of oppose our current power sturctures is that it creates a binary where we have to choose, for example, between a guy who doesn't see a problem with black face and an actual rapist.

Who did he rape and who did he sexually assault? The beej in the oval office was definitely terrible because of the power dynamic between the two, but it was consensual as far as I know. Am I missing others? You're trying really hard here to make a distinction and I don't think you're doing as good of a job as you think you are.

If the Dems don't care then explain why
1. Al Franken resigned over sexual misconduct allegations,
2. Gary Hart dropped out of the 1988 race over the Donna Rice affair,
3. Andrew Cuomo resigned over sexual harassment allegations,
4. Rep. John Conyers resigned over sexual harassment allegations,
et al.

There is no evidence that Clinton raped anyone. There are all kinds of stories that the right wing has put out that allude to it.
I have absolutely no doubt Bill was a horn dog that would come on to women however.

Talked with my attorney sister last night, and according to her when Harris was a
Prosecuting Attorney, she was one of the ones you did not want to go against if you were a defense attorney.
I would not be surprised if Donnie is looking for a way to get out of a debate with her since I am pretty sure his campaign people have told him about this.

And during the Edwards scandal, you had one guy here who stated he did not care about Edwards ethics but only his policies. I think that was horrid position to takem abd Trump shows that.

Michael Zabel, my (PA) state Representative put his hand on a woman's knee and was pushed into resigning. No biggie, you might think, just a dumb state rep? Well, that had that special election gone to the GOP they would have re-asserted ownership of the PA House and started playing their usual games of trying to restrict voting etc.
Thankfully, the Democrats pushed the abortion issue, and the GOP's brilliant response was "Awww, we wouldn't do thaaaat. And even if we did the Democratic Governor would just vote lil' ol' us!"
