No matter how good our imagination is, reality always seems to be both more complex and way more interesting.
Is there any planet we ever even got close to the truth in our imaginations?

Maybe it's supposed to be 6,000 miles in diameter. That would put it pretty close to Earth-sized.

Think you've misread it, the caption is describing a singular cyclone, the article is describing a whole storm system.
