The photo caption says, the cyclones are up to 600 miles in diameter; the text says they're Earth-sized. Someone needs to tell NASA how big the Earth is...and that it's not flat.

Maybe it's supposed to be 6,000 miles in diameter. That would put it pretty close to Earth-sized.

Think you've misread it, the caption is describing a singular cyclone, the article is describing a whole storm system.
