June 2007 Stundie Nominations

I don’t know whether this is allowed but I would like to nominate a compilation for the stundie award.

This comes from Craig Ranke (Lyte) after being confronted with a whole host of witnesses who saw a plane hit the Pentagon.

“It's clear he has the entire story worked out in his head”

“Lloyd's account is a fabrication”

“Whether or not he was a willing accomplice we do not know but clearly he was involved with the operation”

“Yes there are hundreds accounts of the plane but most could not even see the Pentagon at all.”

“Obviously if 9/11 is an inside job we must assume that some of these accounts were completely fabricated.”

“Lagasse was obviously trying his hardest to support the official story as much as possible.”

"You do realize that Gary Bauer was a member of the PNAC and an actual signer of the document that calls for a "new pearl harbor" right?"

"Rick Renzi, a corrupt republican congressman"

"The ones that aren't liars saw the plane and were fooled into believing it hit the building"

"we know that people were fooled into believing it hit the building"

"The witnesses you posted are dubious"

"Those people would have NOT been able to see what was supposed to be the "original" plane or the one that was supposed to have hit"

"She is clearly embelishing her account"

"Either she is a liar or simply embellished her account for attention"

"These are EXTREMELY dubious witness statements"

"These accounts are questionable on many levels"

"Lloyd is not an immigrant. He is simply black."

"This was merely a cover story meant to blend the identity of the flyover jet"

"he did not even see the Pentagon get hit or know that it was what was hit at first"

"He was obviously NOT near the pentagon during the time of the alleged impact because he could not even tell that the explosion originated from the Pentagon"

I'm nominating this one because it tries to roll almost every "alternate theory" of the cause of the collapses into one (missing out, unfortunately, on Judy Wood's "Energy Beam").

Dang, SoG... You forgot to put Ranke's rank in there! He's not just Craig Ranke! Why, he's Craig Ranke, CIT! I'm sure he's ordering a sleeve patch.

As to your query, I think it's probably not fairly nominatable(sic), but it'd be a great thread unto itself. I'd suggest you start one... I'm willing to bet that if you use "Lyte" and "Denies" in the thread title it'll go to five pages in two days.

Actually, all the serious debunkers amaze me. The ability to continue to answer idiocy with fact, usually calmly and [more or less] courteously is admirable. I just read these threads because I am fascinated by conspiracy theories and theorists - their circularity, their single-minded ability to ignore significant contradictory evidence, their absolute conviction of the evil intent of anyone who doesn't agree with them. If I had to actually reply to some of these posts, I would probably run screaming from the forum.

Hopefully you also don't dislike the OTHER debunkers. You know, those of us who use sarcasm and humour in the place of expertise and brains, which we lack.
