Judd v. Obama (Orly Taitz)

Can her 'client' sue her for malpractice even if he didn't have any chance of winning in the first place?

This is fun, Orly showed up at CPAC and crashed an anti-islam panel by Pamela Gellar demanding to know why they weren't focusing on Obama's birth certificate. (I am curious as to why Gellar was there running a panel because she has been whining about CPAC succumbing to Sharia because they didn't invite her to come speak this year)

I'm pretty sure that if Orly went to a quilting bee, she'd wonder why they weren't focusing on Obama's birth certificate.

Indeed she's included GOP officials and conservative politicians for quite some time under her umbrella of treason, for failing to heed the Birther Queen. She's got quite a narcissistic streak, that's for sure.

Orly has written about in her crazy diary

What is wrong with Pamela Geller from Atlasshrugs, did she go comletely brain dead? Just a few minutes earlier they talked on this panel about the need for E-Verify of the illegals in order to identify jihadists. Why is it inappropriate to ask,. why are they not talking about the fact that Obama failed E-Verify, that he is using a stolen Social Security number? Is it inappropriate because Breitbart editors, Frank Gaffney, Pamela Geller and the rest of this panel were told by the Obama regime that if they mention Obama’s bogus IDs, they will be sidelined, not allowed on National TV by the Obama regime? Were they told that they will be harassed, intimidated and abused by Obama media thugs, corrupt officials and some corrupt judges? What was inappropriate in this question?

Pam Geller: Too sane for Orly Taitz.

I never, ever thought I'd be able to write the first 5 words of that first sentence in any context.

Gellar was hosting the panel at the invitation of the Breitbart.com crew IIRC.

Indeed. It's just a shame she managed to land herself with a loaded husband before going over the cliff. If she didn't have Yosi's money, she would have been stopped many, many years ago. Or at the very least her actions would have been severely curtailed.

Serious question: Who is actually paying for all of this? Is she doing it off of Yoshi's money, are clients paying her, is she taking lots of small donations from stupid people, is she taking a couple large donations from wealthy, stupid people? Is it public knowledge, even?

Mostly her own (husband's) money, plus whatever she gets in donations from her adoring fans. Nobody really knows, as the accounts for her 'foundation' seem to be overdue.

She gets some chump change from her supporters donating, but common consensus seems to be that she doesn't have very many of them and the donations she recieves is minimal. Of course, her paperwork is a permanent mess, so it's possible some of the donations she recieved for her political campaigns have drifted into her legal campaigns. She is (possibly) also still recieving donations via her foundation, but it's extremely unclear because of the overall lack of barriers separating them all.

She usually doesn't charge her clients, because as a rule of thumb, all of her cases are 'her own' and she only accepts clients so she can gain standing in whatever venue she wants to try her case. This have the added bonus that the California Bar Association won't bother with her, seeing as her clients haven't lost any money on her failings.

She does of course have her dental practice, but with the amount of spur-of-the-moment travelling she's been doing and her continued claims of flying redeyes back and forth the US and then going straight to work there, I think the number of her clients is neligible. We do know she's the only dentist working there, and we know her assistant Lila Dubert is also signing off on most of her legal works, so make of that what you want.

And then there's Yosi. California is a community property state, he's the President and CEO of a fairly succesful tech company, and he can afford a multi-million dollar home in Laguna Niguel, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In short, he's loaded, and Orly can probably tap into those funds of his in exchange for getting out of the house for a couple of days every month.

If you were married to that screech owl, how much would you pay to keep her out of the house most of the time?

Whatever it takes, but that's me. Is his husband so deranged as to willfully sponsor Orly's activities, or is he just some poor bastard who got royally screwed and now has to pony up just to get some peace and quiet at home?

Is her husband as bat:rule10 crazy as she is, or should I feel really, really sorry for him?
Noone really knows, as Yosi have stayed well and truly out of Orly's birther cases. Apart from the one time he got sued by Orly's (alleged) former lover, and they managed to shut that one down pretty swiftly.
