You know who else is out of control? Mothers Agaisnt Drunk Drivers. It it was up to them anyone who had a drink and drove would be thrown in jail. Nobody wants to stand up to them because theyd be branded as being pro drunk driving.

PETA and other animal extremists vigorously diasavow any Hitler analogy, and the extent of anti-vivesection laws in Nazi Germany is open to question.
I think however the above point is valid, and one can see the weirdness of doing violence to humans to protect animals, as PETA and others do.
I believe some of the extremists' views come from a strange self-loathing.

PETA is quite right: there are many atrocities committed against animals; but they are committed by PETA and similar groups. If you truly care about the welfare of animals, don't believe the lies PETA constantly proclaims about the treatment of animals on farms and in labs. Rather, take a stand for animals and people alike by taking a stand against animal rights. It's the right thing to do.

Has anyone bothered to figure out what the hell we're supposed to eat? Or are we supposed to simply wither away and die? Sounds like that idiotic voluntary extinction group.

Ingrid Newkirk has been spewing her bilge for years, supporting whack jobs who commit violent acts against people who are trying to save lives. The University of California, Davis, had to install extensive (and expensive) security systems because ALF and its groupies (probably students at UCD, and if you live in the area, you know what I'm talking about) destroyed a lab and its contents. The material destroyed, and the accompanying data, for the most part belonged to grad students trying to complete their degrees.

Newkirk isn't simply an idiot; she's a genocidal bitch who won't consider her work complete until she's had the opportunity to watch large segments of the population dying painfully. Too bad it's not her or her kids who will endure such misery. I'm sure she has some sort of a philosophical "out" that allows her to make use of medical advances that have come from animal testing.
