I'm operating under the premise that an arrest constitutes proof of a criminal nature*. It then follows that the McMichaels are far more diabolical than Arbery, thus undercutting the arguments of McMichaels' defenders.

*Of course, I know that this premise is false. I'm just establishing a principle.

You misunderstood what I was responding to. ITTL was saying there was "nothing to support that belief, that McMichael wanted to shoot him".

My point was that it didn't make much difference if he did or not, his actions were the same and led to the same result.

He's carrying a shotgun,why would he release it to punch someone when he can just keep shooting them?
