Djj- why do you suppose, if it is true that women were made of the rib of Adam, that when developing in the womb, all humans(and other animals) start off physically prepared to become females? To make it simple, gonads are in the inside, all babies have a canal, a vagina of sorts, until, if the baby has a Y chromosome, the canal turns inside out and testes and a penis develope, but if the extra chromosome is X, everything stays where it is and female organs grow from the gonads. If man is the true human form and women come from man, what do you make of this? Wouldn't god just have babies start off anatomically in position of what sex they were meant to be? Why have them start off ready to be female if male is the original form of the human being?

Just wondering how this fits into your religious views.

As again biology and true religion mesh EXACTLY.

Men are not from Mars and women from Venus. We are both ONE and almost the same, just perfect opposites that fir together PERFECTLY by DESIGN (not by chance or luck).

Study embrylogy as men and women start off exactly the same, it is just the X chromosome that gives a hormone that differentiates men from women. But notice the exact correspopndances sexually. And yet to start with I won;t get too graphic, and yet there it is visually if you truly want to know.

Well women were from the beginning, as the us or gods mentioned in Genesis 1 were male and female. This obvious as the Holy Spirit herself is female.

  • The bible does condone the murder of children.
  • The bible does celebrate the murder of children.

This is the logos doctrine. A form of this is also seen in proverbs, only it is not jesus, but a female Sophia, or Wisdom. If you want to say somthing about the logos doctrine you should take this into account as well.

That's just offensive and wrong. How can you say people here havn't studied and made their own descissions etc. I would love to see your research, which seems to stem from questionable sources and lead to things no scholar, even those who are religious, would support.

Read Basil, this is just not supported anywhere. Your wife's page shows little understanding of the Hebrew Old Testament, and her use of Proverbs is off target. The Wisdom of Proverbs is more equatable with Jesus in its use of the Logos Doctrine and John (probably the worst gospel to use for support of your ideas BTW) Her disection of YHWH is perhaps the worst I have ever seen ( I really say this in all seriousness, it makes no sences and has no basis in Hebrew at all, especially the reference to Jesus I don't say this to be mean or flame or anything, it really is just plain wrong whereas others are at least debatable).

Calling God bisexual is just completely unsupported, and easily contradicted. For example, when you have the text God our Lord, it is Yhwh Adonai, Adonai, meaning lord is singular male with a pronomial suffix. Not female, thus YHWH was male.

Finally, stop siting geocities, get real sources, journals and books etc. Read scholars and maybe go take classes in this, stop just misnterpreting everything.

How do you have a discussion with someone like this? He is pulling stuff out of his...hat. Making it up out of whole cloth. I suppose if you can believe in something like angels or the Trinity, you can believe just about anything, but it makes it impossible to have a grounded and centered discussion about this kind of thing.

I am a student of both Joseph Campbell and Clarissa Pinkola-Estes, who are both students of Jungian archetypes. Pinkola-Estes in particular has some fascinating things to say about women and archetypes. Her work is a little woo-ish, but her brilliance makes that forgiveable.

I am pleased because I love to point out the communication flaws of those who think they're superior--to me, and by extension to all women. I think the fact that you assume you are superior and yet can't properly communicate speaks volumes to the falsity of that assumption.
