Science isn't so arrogant as to declare that only god knows. Science admits what it doesn't know and then sets out to find the answer and not act like a horse's a$$ declaring that god did it.

Science has:


Synthesized carbon.
Cloned living organisms.
Unlocked the mystery of DNA.
Unlocked the mystery of the atom.
Spliced genes to change the properties of species.
Developed a cure for blue baby syndrome which is a hell of a lot more than simply declaring "god does it" ever did.

What have you done but act like a jerk and judge science for having the cajones to try and find an answer?

You tell us nothing that the dunces of old didn't tell us. "God did it" is not an answer. It wasn't an answer to Galileo, it wasn't an answer to Newton, it wasn't an answer to Einstein or Bohr. Thank goodness that.

David, it's very bad form to add your own comments within a quoted passage. It's a misrepresentation and probably a reportable abuse. If you're too lazy to open and close quotes for commentary, then just shut up.

As far as I know, the point at which sex first occurred is not known. This is not surprising, but it is not an argument against evolution either. I have not studied it that hard or that recently, so maybe more is known now than once was. This is not to say that the evolution of sex after that, including the evolution of genitals, has not been studied and figured out. You are simply wrong about that. Anyway, it hardly matters, because as usual you miss my point completely: your ideas are nonsensical no matter what one believes about evolution. Your statements are irrational and fly in the face of common observation. Even if I believed in Biblical creationism I would still find your arguments stupid, because they are so obviously, flagrantly erroneous.

Right. We are all worried that having closed tens of thousands of gaps and leaving god few places to hide we are really worried that we might not be able to answer all of the questions we seek to answer.

You still only stick your head in the sand stating "god did it" and it still tells us absolutely nothing.

How did god do it?

God didn't cure Polio. Science did.
Science mapped the human genome.
Science unlocked the secrets of DNA.
Science successfully fertilized a human in vitro.
Science successfully cloned another human being.
God didn't cure blue baby syndrome. Science did.
Science can artificially create human skin and blood plasma.

Every year we learn more about biology and the world around us and you sit and complain because science does not yet know everything.

You argue from personal incredulity.
You argue from ignorance.

How are you different from any ignorant person in the past who declared "god did it"?

And then Paulhoff posted some links to scientific thinking on the subject of the evolution of sexual reproduction. It seens that scientists don't know for certain, but they do have some pretty good ideas. Pretty far from "no idea" actually. But you won't read it any more than you will admit that you are a false prophet.

Where is your honesty David? Why do you continue to ignore the failed prophecy you made? Every time someone mentions your failed prophecy and you subsequently ignore it you are made a fool of. Are you unable to admit, even to yourself that you are not the special, brilliant, holy prophet that you want others to think you are? Bruto was honest enough to admit that he does not know the answer to the question of exactly why sex evolved, but you are not honest enough to admit that you made a prophecy and that it failed to come true so you quietly moved the dates further into the future.

Human entrophy how you guys and gals disintegrate in time when faced with real questions. None of you can answer how sex evolved so have to quickly try and change the subject into another form of lower energy called slandering. You thinking the best defense is to try and go on the offensive.


Yet those with true foundations can change for the better. But without choice and conscious effort, what the Lord created always decays until He has promiised to build it anew, with the New Heaven and Earth.

Where have your expert evolutionists run to, why are they in hiding ?
