Jeffrey Toobin exposes himself on Zoom

Rather lacking on detail. If it was an accident I can't see why he would have been suspended, one gathers it may have been more than a quick flash of a naked nipple.

Good heavens! Someone has a penis, and now we know! *shock horror amaze*

It's not prudishness run amok to expect that your work peers won't whip their dick out during a conference call.

"I'm sorry, I thought my camera was off while fondling myself during a work meeting" is not a resounding defense.

Toobin should jerk off in his own personal time like a normal, decent person.

Call me a cynic, but I'm pretty sure that if he'd been erect and jacking it the news coverage about it would be using a lot different terminology than merely "touching his penis". He was probably just scratching an itch.

I rather do love watching major news sources have to report on themselves, the language is always good for a laugh.

"CNN reached out to CNN for comment on the incident..."

It's weird how often things like this have happened this year. Usually the stories do not include somewhat famous people, but these stories do exist. I just don't get it. I've done countless virtual meetings this year, and not once have I thought, "Gee, this meeting is going nowhere. I guess it's time to whip it out and have a little 'me' time. Hmm, I wonder if I turned off the camera...?"

Mr. Toobin should retroactively self-identify as a woman. I have it on good authority that his penis wouldn't count anymore if he did.

OJ Simpson compares and contrasts Toobin's incident with that of Paul "Peewee Herman" Ruebens.

Jake Tapper from CNN sassed back at OJ telling him to pipe down, presumably coming to the pseudo-defense of his fellow CNN personality, Toobin.

Reubens, Tapper and Toobin are all of the same background, btw.

ETA: Also possibly worth mentioning is that another long time CNN legal analyst, who now seems to be out of favor with the left and with that network, but was once very respected and Toobin treated him as a mentor, if memory serves, Alan Deshowitz - was also accused of gross sexual misconduct with underage girls connected with Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein and Dershowitz. Just to reiterate.

Wasn't that the problem in the first place?

The meeting was between radio station WNYC and the New Yorker magazine.

Vice now has an update: apparently he was masturbating during the meeting.

So, not a case of accidental exposure after the meeting was over but before the call ended and the cameras switched off. This was ongoing shenanigans while the meeting was still in progress.

Now, I can understand and forgive the former, even after six months of practice. These things happen.

But trying to multi-task sexual gratification with a videoconference is unforgivably stupid. If the latest story is true, the New Yorker should probably make his temporary suspension permanent. One wonders what other unforgivable abdications of judgement he's had over the years.
