For proper context, he is arguing that Obama is not really an American citizen because according to English law that predates America, he would be an English citizen.
 
That reminds me of matt taibbi talking about when he went to a truther meeting when he was on the daily show. He said the two stated goals if the group were to create a whole new form of media in the united states and... Have a movie night
 
Another politically motivated one:

This battle over the "Anchor Babies" is technically over a couple of words in the 14th Amendment that have been misconstrued for years: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and are subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside."

The illegals are not subject to the Law until they get caught in some kind of wrongdoing, which could be anything including the fact that they are "trespassers."

They have not been subject to the "laws" that establish for example; the Selective Service System and the required registration therewith. When they are caught in wrongdoing they are not required to fulfill the requirements of the Selective Service, because they do not apply to persons that are not citizens.
