Uh, when I point out that a convicted criminal is a convicted criminal, that, according to you, is "a smear with no content"? He has been convicted for his crimes. He has rotted in jail for his crimes. Because he is a crook. That is not a smear. That is a statement of fact. Note how it has content.

As for whether he is "mad", I refer you to the statements that you yourself have quoted him as saying. Evidently he is mad. Unless you wish to pretend that his statements are in fact sane. Go for it. This should be amusing.

I don't see how you justify your last sentence. Trials in the EU are every bit as fair as trials in the US, and there is no need to let your dislike (however justified) of this one particular Dutchman to spill over into Europhobia.
