You are not an authority on the founding father's beliefs. You have no magic to tell exactly what they would have thought.

No, I pay homage to the Founding Fathers of our nation, those great men who stepped forward at a crucial point in our history and built a new nation based on freedom. They built a democratic republic so that we all could enjoy the blessings of liberty.

Those Founding Fathers are those who:

signed the Declaration of Independence

signed the Constitution

did other important stuff back then.

"Pay homage to" I guess means "take their words out of context and use them to support whatever I want them to support with no evidence they would have felt that way."

So "pay homage to" is kind of like a cross between plagiarism and disrespect in your world?

Has anyone pointed out that the Federal Government's so called aid to Haiti historically includes murdering them by the thousands, a la the Duvaliers' reign of terror?

Before one donates to an organization, one should always consider the organizations historical reputation. This includes government.
