Both sides have their fair share of bigoted pigs. Really, If it wasn't for the historic value of Jerusalem I'd say we turn that into the giant trap-filled death arena for charity!

I guess if one needs to keep THE shining example of the disgusting things religions have foisted on innocent people, the blood-soaked land around Jerusalem would be the place. All the religions that hold that place as "holy" have killed so many infidels (those that don't adhere to the religion du jour) for offenses against the imaginary noises in their heads, as a poster child for murderous intolerance and bigotry, Jerusalem certainly leads the field.

My take is that the perps escaped, angry Palestinians gather, more extremist settlers show up to cause trouble, soldiers come and make everyone go home.

But even if a belief did manage to turn such a trick, what relevance has it to the reported incident? Do you mean that because person A. does a bad thing, person B. is exempt from criticism when s/he does a bad thing?

I think he is saying that since many churches have been destroyed by Muslims over the last 1,000 years, this makes the burning of this church and Koran by Jews, inconsequential.

FACT: hundreds if not thousands of synagogues were burned and destroyed by Christians, during WW2.
