Is Obama planning to attack Saudi Arabia?

Your speculations don't count for anything.

How has the US Central Commander Commander disposed his forces? How has the US Africa Command Commander disposed his ground forces? What about those dispositions cause you to believe offensive ground action is being contemplated? What about the force flow from the US to Europe and Southwest Asia indicates to you planning for sustained ground operations and post conflict occupations?

The so-called no-fly zone implementation in Libya at the moment looks like a military invasion. They could do something similar in Saudi Arabia. So that they start with air attacks and then bring in ground troops, such as from Iraq into Saudi Arabia.

You know if you're going to pontificate about this sort of thing you might take the trouble to at least learn something about the art and science of armed conflict. You'd look marginally less whacky if you did that. I recommend Claustwitz to start with. Hart is a good primer is as well. You're knowledge of this topic is no where good enough for you to have an opinion anyone need concern themselves with.

Breaking news:

"Arab League criticizes allied airstrikes on Libya

CAIRO (AP) — The head of the Arab League has criticized international strikes on Libya, saying they caused civilian deaths.

The Arab League's support for a no-fly zone last week helped overcome reluctance in the West for action in Libya. The U.N. authorized not only a no-fly zone but also "all necessary measures" to protect civilians.

Amr Moussa says the military operations have gone beyond what the Arab League backed."

"The Arab League (Arabic: الجامعة العربية‎ al-Jāmiʻa al-ʻArabiyya), officially called the League of Arab States (Arabic: جامعة الدول العربية‎ Jāmiʻat ad-Duwal al-ʻArabiyya), is a regional organisation of Arab states in North and Northeast Africa, and Southwest Asia. It was formed in Cairo on 22 March 1945 with six members: Egypt, Iraq, Transjordan (renamed Jordan after 1946), Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria." -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_League

The no-fly zone in Libya is not supposed to be a war, yet CNN displayed a big text "LIBYA WAR" all over the TV screen. Maybe it's just an exaggeration made by CNN to get people's attention OR this is a pre-planned war that has started in Libya and CNN managers already know that.

An outrageous conspiracy theory I came to think of is that the western military forces start to bomb and massacre a lot of innocent civilians, so that the Arab League are forced to become strongly against the western military intervention in Libya.

Who cares?

I know, it's quite shocking how sheeple behave. If one of their 'loved ones' dies, then they become deeply sorrow but when people they don't know die they hardly get bothered at all! Ordinary people = complete sociopaths.

No I meant "who cares another conspiracy theory came to you,". I'm saying your work isn't good enough to bother with.

Yeah, I suspected you meant that, but I couldn't resist to sneak in some ethical propaganda. We still live very much like on a Planet of the Apes. We are not human yet. We are, socially, still very primitive.

To establish a no fly zone they have to ensure that Libyan aircraft don't fly. To do that they have to put aircraft over Libya. To do that safely they need to disable the Libyan AA systems.
What did the Arab League think they were going to do?

My (far-out) conspiracy theory is that the western air strike on purpose targeted some civilians and then the western leaders made sure the Arab League learned about those atrocities so that they were forced to condemn the no-fly zone implementation.

I think we have been indoctrinated to not feel empathy for strangers. I am myself pretty bad at feeling genuine empathy for strangers far away. And the mainstream propaganda machinery uses that insensitivity in people to manipulate us.

For example, they will no doubt turn the no-fly zone in Libya into a form of television entertainment. Already, as I mentioned, CNN as started to display large "LIBYA WAR" signs. First the text was pale golden yellow. Now the text has become more towards orange. Soon the the text will look like flaming fire!

Why on earth would you think that?

Oh. So because you can't empathise with strangers, none of us can. I hope you can see the flaw in your reasoning here.

We have been programmed by mainstream media. You don't have to be a professor in psychology to notice the phony empathy the news anchors display on television. Of course, media can also create empathy, like in the case of the catastrophe in Japan at the moment. There is a far bigger catastrophe going on with millions of people starving to death, but media doesn't push that, so people don't care about it, at least not care enough about it to solve the problem.

Please let me know which so I won't have to bother wasting words on someone who will not be able to comprehend them.

You'll forgive me for not taking this statement seriously. Or, don't forgive me, it's of no consequence.

I'd explore the possibility that your social inadequacies are because of you, not some conspiracy to make you less empathetic. These are things within your power to influence. You appear to have simply thrown up your hands and shifted responsibility to some fantasy conspiracy instead of recognizing there are things you can do to make changes.

I think it's good to not be too sensitive and take on too much of other people's suffering. A combination of real emphatic feelings and intellectual ethics could be a good approach. But in moderation!
