you claim that you have no problem with muslims, yet you hate islam.
you seem to think that amslims are ok, but followers of islam are bad.
dude...muslims are followers of islam.
muslims believe they worship yhwh.

I wasn't quoting you, I was concluding. You're not straightforward enough to come right out and say something like that. However, this reasoning: "HA !! I doubt that!! Muslims I know listen to what I have to say and don't launch into wild rants like you do. They hunger for the truth and appreciate what I tell them." depends on the premise 'if Firegarden does not act like the Muslims I know, I find it hard to believe Firegarden has Muslim parents'. And that's hardly the only post where you generalize from a small sample size of Muslims to the entire religion.

Our disagreement is easily solved though. I don't see the point of having a dialogue with someone who thinks I'm not being truthful. Done with you.

You have a sterotype of what a Muslim is -- I don't fit it, so I can't even be the son of Muslims.

It's important for context to understand that Islam has good and bad and Protestants have good and bad. I don't like Islam but I would be dishonest if I didn't admit that most Muslims are good, decent and honest people. It would also be dishonest to deny that there are evil protestants.

You've already started a discussion about it. The fact that you admit that another religion has problems like those to be found within Islam, and then childishly dismiss that fact, illustrates the dishonest double standard that you are applying.

Islam is not like Chirstianity. All the leaders of each Christian sects insist that the Bible is not to be interpreted literally.

It is not like that with the Quran.

Lots of Chirstians do not take all the violent evil stuff in the Bible literally anymore.

It is not like that with Islam and the Quran. The Quran really is thought to be the literal word of God, as in it came from God's mouth. So if the Quran bashes gays, or anyone else, it is rational for Muslims to feel that if they hang homosexuals, like they do in Iran, it makes God happy.

And this is why Islam beats Christianity in the gay bashing rhelm, hands down

I have explained this already. You insist I do it again. I did it again. Explain why do I give you this much respect when you do not have the respect to go back and find where I had already explained this? Do you consider yourself to be an ingrate?

Is this how you intend to gain the upper hand in this debate? You intend to do a treasure hunt for something you can pull out of context and make an issue out of? And then ask me to explain it again and again and again and again and again until I get tired and you feel you have accomplished something by attrition when all you have done is demonstrate the extent that you can be annoying?

The worst part of Christianity and Islam isn't the violence, it's enslaving minds. Infecting brains with parasites that control the hosts. Prayer, sacrifice, rejection of science, ignorance over enlightenment. In that way they are the same.
