My reaction to this...
Why is a penis “masculine”?
According to the
dictionary definition of masculine:
2. Of or pertaining to the male sex; biologically male, not female.
Given that the penis is a male sexual organ, it necessarily pertains to the male sex, and is therefore masculine by definition.
Why is a vagina “feminine”?
According to the
dictionary definition of feminine:
2. Of or pertaining to the female sex; biologically female, not male.
Given that the vagina is a female sexual orifice, it necessarily pertains to the female sex, and is therefore feminine by definition.
Why are there so many gay men who won’t date a “woman” just because she has a vagina-
I don't think it's
just the vagina. If you took a normal attractive woman and surgically replaced her vagina with a penis, leaving the rest of he body completely unaltered, I genuinely doubt that gay men would suddenly be interested in dating her.
For someone who is exclusively attracted to men, a person with a female body-shape, breasts, female facial features and voice would be completely unattractive to them regardless of whether or not that person has a penis of vagina.
like THAT IS DISCRIMINATION people
So what? There's nothing wrong with discrimination in general.
Is there anything wrong with straight men discriminating against other men when seeking a sexual partner? Or straight women discriminating against other women as potential mates for romantic interludes?
Is there anything wrong with businesses discriminating against unqualified applicants when hiring new staff, or driving instructors discriminating against giving blind people driving lessons?
Discrimination isn't necessarily a bad thing.
If you connect with someone i don’t get why you can’t just have sex with them
I don't see why connecting with someone should in any way relate to wanting to have sex with them. You can be friends with people without wanting to screw them.
The assumption that people should be willing to have sex with anyone they can "connect with" on an emotional level seem to be a gross perversion of normal human relationships to me.
and if you are really going to write someone off based on genitalia you are garbage.
People often "write someone off" as a potential sexual partner based on whether or not they find that person sexually attractive. There's no virtue in being willing to have sex with someone you're not sexually attracted to.
Accusing people of being "garbage" simply because they don't want to have sex with people they're not sexually attracted to is a pretty sick mindset.
