Is gender preference a form of discrimination?

You know as a bi guy I've always felt that way, but not in a " those people are jerks" way like in the quoted bit in the OP more "i just don't get it".

To me genitalia being the primary deciding factor in who someone wants to be with just does not compute.

I am always reminded by the people who unwittingly find some cute teenage crossressing guy attractive and sexy. Then after the reveal they suddenly recoil in horror and make sure that everyone knows how really heterosexual and straight they are and how they never would do it with a guy and someone with a penis, no matter how pretty and hot they are.

I'm calling Poe on this one.

No..sadly it's real.

A couple more examples.

Here we have FtBlogger Dana Hunter talking about "transphobia" when she relates a story about a friend of hers who got drunk and decided to loose his virginity with a prostitute only to find that the prostitute wasn't exactly what the customer had bargained for.

Point #2 is that our manager decided to relate a funny story from his teen years, when he went to Canada where the drinking age was 18, and proceeded to get so drunk he invited a prostitute back to his room – until he realized the prostitute was a man. Transphobia ensued. It wasn’t over-the-top, just the typical red-blooded American male brand where there’s no way in hell he’s gonna end up in bed with a man, no matter how good his or her makeup is.

And here we have Aplusser AlexSeanchai pretty much saying the same thing.

My thinking is, if Adebowale consents to sex with Badr, Adebowale is consenting to sex with Badr, regardless of what shape Badr's genitals are. Adebowale is of course free to withdraw consent upon the discovery that Badr's genitals are shaped differently than Adebowale expected--this is a jackass reason to withdraw consent, but consent must be revocable for any reason or none, even the jackass reasons--but that doesn't mean Badr deceived Adebowale in any way. Adebowale may have deceived Adebowale by making an assumption about the shape of Badr's genitals, but that's not Badr's fault and shouldn't be Badr's problem.

note: the Adebowale/Badar thing is a reworking of the persona/b thing just using names from cultures that aren't white and are gender neutral.

Here's a link to TumblrInAction, read it enough and you'll come to the conclusion that these people are serious.

Such "discremination" is reocgnized as far as I can tell as fine.

We even give it another name : taste.

I discreminate every day against red fruit, and prefer orange , bannana.

I also discremiante in what gender my sexual partner are. It is called being heterosexual.

Both belong on the same level : A private things related to taste that this person has completely confused with social or job discremination.

2. Of or pertaining to the male sex; biologically male, not female.

Given that the penis is a male sexual organ, it necessarily pertains to the male sex, and is therefore masculine by definition.

Un Vagin : vagina. Male noun in French. In fact the slang for penis : une Bite, is a feminine noun.

I would not really draw conclusionm from something which is lilkely based on so many language quirk.

While its hard to tell in any given case its definetly a concept that is floating around out there. Google cotton ceiling.

Well if you look up some thread on trans/cis , there was the same undercurrent. Independentely of the thema of social non sexual interraction, people seemed (to me) to think that men refusing to have sex with trans women were bigot or something. By extension, then lesbian refusing to have sex with trans women are bigot. I think personally it is insane , but that seem to be something some people truly think.

In Mexican slang it's the same. Polla and chocho for p and va-g, respectively.

In order to really not get it, you'd need to be not merely bisexual (attracted to some members of both sexes) but something better named "omnisexual": attracted to all, not just some. Otherwise, you're already quite familiar with the concept of just not being attracted to some certain people.

Also, is it discrimination that I am attracted to certain humans but to absolutely no sheep?

When did sex become a basic human right? I need to contact Jennifer Lawrence's attorneys.
