It's a ceremony. What ceremony isn't?

But there are a lot -- a HELL of a lot -- of people who are so delighted by the Obama election that they want to celebrate. Why deny them that?

Maybe he is talking about the news coverage of it. I am watching some of it right now and it's nothing more than commentators saying "Look it's blah blah of blah blah coming down the steps." and other useless banter.

Shrug. People want to watch this. We're going to have a week of SuperBowl pre-game shows in a bit, more "useless banter." And I remember the pre-"game" shows for the Golden Globes or whichever useless film awards were just given out.

It's part of the celebration. People want to celebrate. People will go out to Times Square at 7 o'clock to make sure they're there at midnight when the ball drops.

Or, more specifically, what bologna becomes after it's eaten....



So, did you find any other previous president's inauguration to be too much hype and babble and empty commentary while waiting for something, anything to happen?

Mulatto, but anyway... no when making the decision on who to elect, I'd look at what he's achieved (a year or 2 in the senate), some work on fund raising with Ayers the terrorist, his communist upbringing, and his socialist plans for America and move him up front and center ahead of people with decades of experience and service to this country.
