Because what thermite does is actually it melts the steel. So somebody has to keep pushing it so that the thermite continues to be sticking to the steel, this vertical column, until it actually collapses.
To bad that NIST has no Idea how thermite powered oxygen cutters work, and prove it in that sentence.
What a freaking Joke that is, it is because I understand Dr. Joneses work so well that I was able to point out so many flaws in it.
I agree with much that NIST states however that is a joke on them and CTers are going to jump all over it!
If you asked me thermite powered oxygen cutters are not involved because simply there is no credible evidence of their usage, none, Nada, zipola.
Thermal expansion is a recognized force, it can cause a bridge to collapse and it is one of the results that I expected from NIST because of Mark Ferran's work as he points it out.
NIST seems to be more debunking than Science, I feel revisions might be helpful, in some aspects.
