This was Thursday afternoon. There aren't many pictures of the actual encampment so I can't really define it any other way than what I've read on blogs and news sites.

Well, I'd agree OWS had a contingent of the mentally ill, homeless, drug dealers, etc, plus union members from time to time & place to place.

Not all of them were 'grandkids'.

Tea Party groups had some, but fewer, of the italicised folks, and no union types (who are by definition Democrats/progressives).
 
Considering what kind of worthless scum these 'occupiers' are they all deserve a couple of blows to the back of the head. Though shooting them seems a little over the top.
 
We need a police crack down on the criminals who have damaged the financial system of the US and the rest of the World. They are not the people camping in parks near Wall Street and marching on the streets. The real criminals are inside the investment banks and hedge funds.
