Well, he has linked to various AJ sites, so I just went with that. Judy Woods is just a 9/11 nutcase, but Alex Jones is the fountainhead of CT nonsense. He not only believes all this stuff, he goes out of his way to make up more of it, on every possible topic.

Actually, there are several steps with this approach! If I want to break the quote up and comment on it individually, what a pain in the arse!

It is very simple.

Use the quote button as you have been shown repeatedly, and that puts the entire post that you are quoting into the reply box. Then highlight the section you wish to respond to first, and click the button that looks like this above the reply screen and that will make the appropriate quote box around just those words. Then type your response to that section.

Then highlight the next section that you wish to respond to and hit the same button and that will do the same thing. Rinse and repeat. For instance, I will highlight the words "Sorry, but copy and paste works just fine!" and click the button, and it shows up like this:

One thing the CTists don't seem to realize is that NIST wasn't a criminal investigation. They were interested in learning how to build things better, so as to prevent future disasters. If the CD hypothesis was correct, their entire report could have been:

They really need to lay off NIST, and start focussing on the FBI and the 9/11 Comission. They're the one who should have looked into the CD thing, if anyone should have, as it would have been a criminal act.

So they should go pester the FBI and leave the science guys alone!

Thanks, TAM, for posting the actual quote from the NIST report. I agree that they have indeed fulfilled their mandate for towers 1 and 2, and have no doubt that they will do the same for building 7 when they complete their final report on it.

I think you nailed it there, Horatius. They do seem to think that it was supposed to be a criminal investigation rather than one with the actual mandate that it had. I suspect that this grave misconception is largely due to the fact that the vast majority of CTists have never read any of the NIST report.
