How long could a head be kept alive

Practicaly speaking, I'd think grafting an extra head onto a complete donor's body ought to work. Just leave the donor's brain to run the shared body. In fact, how about leaving the whole upper torso? Think Siamese twins? one set of internal organs, one set of legs, two brains. You would want a larger person for the body, one with extra capacities.

What's the name of that movie with Rosey Grier and Ray Miland?

Hmmm... are doses of anti-rejection drugs related to mass? Would grafting 50 pounds of somebodies else's body need higher doses than a mere two pound kidney?

Never choose death. Since it's the default option anyways. Might as well stick around until it's all over and has been rendered absurd.

I suppose if Larry Flynt can live without a functioning penis, I can too. But I'd need a lot of Prozac.
