I like to think of it as if I'll take one step then God will back me and take two, But if it isn't his will then I will fail in my own efforts.

Ah, I get it. Whenever I attempt something, if I succeed it's because of god and if I fail it's because of god.
Why try anything? Just sit there and whatever god wants will happen.
