So i am kind of in a pickle. For some strange reason i am taking 2 sciences this semester. Organic Chemistry and Biology. As of now i am projecting that i will end up with a c in chemistry. But Biology I got 2 58's on both tests. Right now i am projecting a D with a curve. WHat should I do? I am going to talk with the professor tomorrow. It is a 4 hour course which means if i get a D i predict my GPA will end up just below 2.0. Which is no good. How well i do depends on the class average at the rest of the semester. The chemistry is a 3 hour class with a lab that is its own grade.
What should i do? How will i know when God is telling me to take a certain path? I just dont know.

Unfortunately, you will have to make that decision for yourself. Base it on the evidence. If it appears that it's going to affect your GPA in a way you are unwilling to accept, drop it. If not, stick it through and try to come out stronger.

Like the majority of people here, I'm an atheist. Chances are, there's no god(s) at all, especially ones that would whisper in your ear whether you're supposed to change classes in school.

I'm one of those rare Xtians and I think that God wants us to be adults and make decisions for ourselves that are pleasing to him (I don't think that God has a detailed plan for our lives that we have to find out and follow). What does your gut say?

I think that type of Chrisitan is more common than you think. I heard an interestin comment the other day "God does not go about making things happen, but he takes advantage of situations when they do.

And for the record I agree with you, what are the guts saying

God provides tutors, online assistance, meetings with professors, study groups, Sparks Notes, and drop dates. It's up to you to choose which of these is best for your own situation. There's nothing wrong with discovering either that science is very hard for you or that you can't handle two courses at once. Always make your own way.

The supreme creator of the time, space, and all of existence does not care what classes you take.

God wants you to stop taking classes and work full time at CostCo as a stockboy.

God is too busy deciding sports contests and awarding Grammies. He has no time to care about college classes, or y'know, war, famine, other mundane stuff.

Constructive, tough criticicm/ advice

Then you should have studied more rather than worry about what 'God wants'.
I know this is cold but its a harsh truth. The end results of your grade were up to you. If you were so worried about your GPA you should have rewritten your priorities to match that importance. Regardless of 'life happening's.

Maybe if you try and explain things to your professor (from my experience most are nice when you have a sincere attitude) you'll get to retake a test. If you waited too long and its past a deadline (etc,) then its only your fault.

I'm an atheist, just to get that straight. But you seem to believe in God or you wouldn't be asking if you knew if he was showing you the way.

So I say to you, do you know the mind of God? How do you know he's showing you the way? No matter what anyone else says, you don't. You just do the best job you can do with the knowledge and skills you were given.

Also, I had to drop out of college all together once. I had some problems I wasn't aware of and had to get myself together. Eventually, I went back to school but in a completely different field.

Sometimes Now just isn't the right time for whatever is going on. But Later is it's own time and you have to take things on their own terms then.

God says, "that's ok, son, the world needs ditchdiggers, too."

Oh, wait. That was Judge Smails in Caddyshack. I get those two mixed up all the time.

I think life is more random, i don't think God is holding your hand the whole way. Look at infants dying, wars going on...some people living like kings others...

Maybe we were all created from a source but then its all up to the individual from there obviously.

As a teacher, I can honestly say this:

Talk to your professor, and then STUDY YOUR A$$ OFF, YOU STUPID *************!!!! GOD (whether there is one or not, whether you believe in one or not, etc.) HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!!

It seems to me to be pretty simple. If you don't KNOW when god is telling you something, he/she probably isn't. I do not believe there are any god/s but you obviously do. In your case you should just follow your own best judgment and not worry what god thinks. If he truly has something to say to you, I think he will make it obvious. :)
