How disrespectful can truthers be?

I think that the 'B' was finished, but the lower arc is not easily visible. Perhaps it was hastily done and / or the perpetrator was running out of paint, or holding the can at a bad angle.

In any case, how difficult is it to say 'What a terrible act of vandalism. I don't like this sort of behavior at all.' whether or not you think the guilty party might have any sort of association with your group? I would think that a simple statement to that effect would be one of the quickest and easiest ways to put distance between yourself and a despicable act such as this one.

Maybe you could answer my question as I answer yours...

I would do both a) and b) to make sure it was a complete and thorough investigation.

What would you do? Only perform half an investigation?

Great. We have your opinion on how an investigation should be held.

My opinion? I'd look into a) only. It wouldn't have even occured to me that b) was a possibility. However, this is not my area of expertise.

So, I went to a friend who is in law enforcement. He has training in how to investigate a crime, and years of experience in how to do so. He spends every day preventing and investigating crimes. I gave him the hypothetical burning cross and the two options. He looked at me like I was crazy and said "option 'a', of course". Just to be sure, I asked him to poll his department. He reported back that they looked at him like he was crazy, and started to question his abilities until he explained the situation.

I also told him about the grafitti. First, I had to explain what a "truther" is, since he had never heard of the movement. (That alone should show the lack of necessity of debunkers giving the truth movement a bad name.) Then I told him the theory of the false flag graffiti. He refused to bring that one back to his department because he'd never hear the end of it.

"You're just trying to give us a bad name, after explaining to people who we are!"

Same guy who controls the assassination ring...cheney

but he won't give me a raise, he'll just have me assassinated

Wow! That would raise the total number of brainless "truthers" assassinated on Cheney's orders to one.

@ 2:25 into this google video. An African Muslim confronts truthers shouting over bullhorns at family, friends, visitors paying respect and survivors visiting at ground zero on the anniversary of 9/11. Citing disrespect

I AGREE

Steve,
Did you watch this video?
Did you witness the dispicable acts of the loud disruption of a service in memorium of the dead in Manhattan? AJ says "be respectful" then his people man bullhorns and shout the very slogan that was later painted on the rodside memorial in the OP.

The acts demonstrated in this video far outweigh a spray paint act of vandalism on a small memorial and go much further in creating ill will towards the TM than the spray paint act.

THUS the spray paint vandalism would be completely unneccessary and anathema to the cause of those on this side of the debate.
THUS it can be said with little room for doubt, that members of the TM committed the act shown in the OP.

So we have ample circumstantial evidence that members of the TM are quite accustomed to such debasements and given that they are quite willing to advertise those , in many cases worse, acts, we can be assured that a lesser debasement being falsely pinned on the TM would be unneccessary.

Your reluctance to admit that the most likely candidate for having committed it is quite telling.

You rail on that no one has proven beyond a doubt that the TM did it. Tell it to Schrodinger! Unless you have better evidence that its a <<>> 'false flag act of vandalism' I am satisfied that there is enough circumstantial evidence to pin this on the TM. (just as after several days go by one can be quite sure the cat is dead without actually checking for the 'truth').

How despicable can twoofers be??

How's this one for ya?

This is a typical posting by our late, unlamented "Bob the Analyst".

Who posts on Topix as "Hymie Goldstein" [his idea of a sick joke who, while claiming to be a Jew, as he spews the ugliest antisemitic crap imaginable], "Bob", and several others. Who are all, to a very high probability, alter egos of a much maligned current poster here who shall remain innominate.

Hymie Goldstein said:
It really isn;t likely that 2 million jews died in World War II has a been the claim by some, Of course, you have some really ridiculous claims of 6 million Jews.
As we all know, stories get amplified as the tale grows taller and taller over the generations. Jews in Germany and other countries had the chance to leave, they were free to go, no NAZIs were going to stop them. The problem was that no countries wanted them. Not France, not Russia, not Canada, not Australia and especially not in the United States. The actual figure was around 250,000 to 350,000, this is the recorded number in the house of records also know as the Knesset library, this is the official count.

Things seem to get out of hand very easily, the people that claim 2 million to 6 millions Jews died via the hands of the Nazis also claim that there are between 600 million and 800 millions Jews spread through out the world, today.

It doesn't get much uglier.

This is NOT a one time, or merely occasional, lapse in taste for this yahoo. This clown has posted, similar to our own bill smith, every single day for the past 2 1/2 years. Without fail.

My best guess is that this is his business. Selling trinkets, DVDs, Tee shirts & ash trays. And all this nonsense is intentional stirring the pot to drum up sales.

Hard to believe. But I guess it's a marketing strategy...

Update

Someone fixed it. :D

(Sorry for the quality, I took this at 70mph lol)

Good, I am glad that someone fixed it. Just goes to show that there are people out there who still give a damn.

I have done many many many truth actions here in my area and i've seen "debunkers" vandalize public property in an attempt to have us "truthers" arrested to shut us up, and had we not had video cameras it might have worked.

Now, this is good, Steve. A little bit of provable fact.

Good thing that you got it on video.

Why don't you post on Youtube the video of the debunker vandalizing whatever it was that he was attempting to blame on the truthers.

That will produce a little bump in my "SteveAustin credibility index".

Of course, if that was just a convenient story....

Tom

That was a little more blatant than usual for one of your kind, Steve.

Do truthers ever tell the truth?

When I saw people replying to SteveAustin in an old thread, I assumed that he never came here anymore, so wouldn't be reading this. I stand corrected.

Happy New Year SteveAustin! :)

Truthers can be very disrespectful. I mean they beat up women in wheelchairs, call for the murder of those who disagree with, and believe anyone is involved is "in on it". I think that's all that needs to be said.

Really, you caught them in the act?

Or are you just – in typical truther style – assuming that your group is all too well behaved to ever do such a thing and so it must have been someone else?

I think that it's no a coincidence that mentally ill people seem to believe in vast conspiracies- and that the '9/11 Truther' movement is filled with crazies.

Some of these people seem to have no job or life, and their identity is built around the 9/11 conspiracy.....

I think most of them are harmless- a collection of the ignorant ,the uninformed, and the mentally ill...

But some of them I think are potentially violent. I have heard of cases of witnesses of the planes having crashed being threatened and harassed by '9/11 Truthers'. The woman who snapped the photo of the smoke cloud above the crash site in PA recieved threats from 'Truthers'-

For the life of me, I can't fathom how New Yorkers can contain their rage when they see these apparently unemployed '9/11 Truthers' spinning their delusions at the foot of the Ground Zero site.

I wonder if when memorials were held down at Ground Zero, how many 'Truthers' heckled the families of the victims?
