Sorry, I studied cell phones, and technically there is nothing stopping them from working in flight, and I have personally used a cell phone in flight, and witnessed others using them on commercial flights. But go ahead, spew nonsense you can't support with tech data. I love it when 911 truth followers post nonsense based on opinion, failing to present technical papers on the subject.

The fact is seat-back phones were used, and cell phones can work. Which explains why cell phone calls were dropping out on 911. Your support of CD nuts is based on cell phones and box-cutters? This is classic no evidence, no consistent story for 911 truth.

One "cool story":

- For years, people called Truthers themselves have called for a new investigation of 911 events.

- People called debunkers here on JREF arranged a part of such new investigation (thanks to Chris Mohr): a verification of so called Bentham paper in order to find if red/gray chips from WTC dust can be thermite particles. It's comparatively "important" topic, since the paper of Harrit et al is in fact only scientific paper which allegedly proved CD of WTC.

- This verification was performed by forensic expert James Millette, who concluded that red/gray chips are pieces of epoxy coating with pigments typical for primer paints (iron oxide, kaolinite).

- Truthers from AE911Truth did not like Millette's results (results of a new 911 investigation). Therefore they decided to write a blatant lie that Millette did not prove primer paint. They promised to publish some detailed response/critic in their web, which has never happened.

- Truthers from AE911Truth do not deserve any new investigation and wouldn't trust any new scientific evidence, since they need to live forever in their paranoid delusions.

- Truthers from AE911Truth (which is in fact only publicly active group of truthers now) clearly prevent any new investigation of possibly real faults, omissions and even frauds as for 9/11, still promoting the old utterly idiotic "hypothesis" that attacks of the planes was supported by some kind of "auxiliary" controlled demolitions:cool:

I am sure that's not correct, or is it?

Anyway, googling for "advertisement+metallurgist" on ae911truth doesn't give me a clear result - not sure what you are talking about. Perhaps this here?

That ad campaign never came to fruition. Money was raised, but the effort stalled, I believe some fraud was involved, and by the end of 2010, AE911Truth held on to $69,811 in liabilities, in lieu for the RememberB7 campaign.
I am not aware that this money was ever spent on anything real.

In the meantime, I estimate that AE911Truth has had a total income of more than 1.5 million US$. Questions to you:
- How much new investigation was bought or achieved with that money? (Answer: None)
- How much money went into the pocket of Mr. Gage as personal salary and travel expenses? (I estimate roughly 400-450,000 US$)
- How much money went into marketing to generate more income for AE911Truth (most of the rest)
- What has AE911Truth achieved in six years? (Nothing)

So I propose that campaign is a failure.

So call for a new investigation as you please, but ask funding from those who care (the abject minority on the fringe). Don't bother the public and its purses with it.
 
This is a very strange thread. It's almost as if a new member has joined and doesn't know that there are existing threads dealing with all of these points.

This boxcutter thing is very strange. It's the topic of one of the first posts I replied to.

I urge you to read the whole thread. I especially like the suggestion that you Truther friends who think boxcutters are just toys to go out and prove me wrong. Get a few of them. Find some nut case kid and make a film of you trying to take them away from him. Make sure to have someone put it up on Youtube for you, 'cause you're be in a sausage bag after that one's over.

I guess our new found Truther friend hasn't been following things very much. Truther friend cromleckderennes, you do know there's a thread here where we've gone through the membership of AE9/11T and found they're...well....not really as expert as you and your Truther buddies would like to believe. Far in excess of 90% of them are interior decorators, park designers, computer engineers, and all sorts of interesting stuff. What you don't really find is civil engineers or architects with any experience with steel structure buildings. But don't take my word for it, check out this thread,
