Jc, where do you stand on the existence?
I don't have enough info to hold a firm belief either way.
I lean more to the its unlikely (lack of strong evidence) Could I come up with a
hypothesis of a elusive nomadic bipedal primate that could sustain itself
maybe...
Would I fall off my chair if a new species of biped was discovered.
Not at all. I'd be the first one on the plane.
I think the sociological aspect to all this has been drowning it all along the way.
One Thing I am sure of though, is that pranks and hoaxing have been pinned to it at every step.
Leaving very little room for any real science.(with it's weak supporting evidence that accompanies it).
This is an area many scientists stay away from.(Unless they don't fear
not having coffee with his fellow PhD's at the University).
Anecdotal and weak(inconclusive)physical supporting evidence is at play here.
I actually applaud Jeff Meldrum a bit. He could easily have let the freeman prints
and other influences go.
and if it wasn't for all these characters I would have one less interest in life.
