The really funny thing is she wasted no time at all flat out throwing Bill de Blasio Under the Bus for That "C.P.T." Joke.

“Well, look, it was Mayor de Blasio’s skit. He has addressed it, and I will really defer to him because it is something that he’s already talked about.”

Well Look, Hillary Clinton just flat out passing the buck, now that is news.

lolz

Ahaa I didn't know what "C.P. Time" meant until seeing this thread. I still don't know what it really means - that Colored People are lazy? If so, good one! Who thought that was a good idea? Wow!

No it doesn't mean lazy. It means they aren't hung up on being on time. That doesn't have a value one way or the other. Some people are regularly on time and some are regularly late.

I'm often late, I'm definitely not lazy. It's like you expect the doctor is often late and you end up waiting in the waiting room.

And it doesn't mean all blacks just like it doesn't mean all doctors.

It's culture, which is why most people interviewed on the streets in NY by Joy Reid on MSNBC today said the joke fell flat but they weren't offended.

No, not true, she summarized the day, the interviews weren't shown. Maybe you should watch a news segment before drawing false conclusions about what was said/shown.

Oh, they weren't even shown, ok. Are you seriously asking me to waste my precious lifetime with watching MSNBC? Maybe I misremember, but wasn't it you who tried to break free from the hypnotube some years ago? If so, major fail and it shows. Pity.

Hillary Clinton Gets Tepid Response at Black Activist Conference (April 13, 2016)

Hillary Clinton on Wednesday received a lukewarm response from a gathering of black leaders and voters in New York.

Speaking at the annual conference of the National Action Network, the civil rights organization founded 25 years ago by the Rev. Al Sharpton.

The gathering was somber this year, as Mr. Sharpton and other keynote speakers bemoaned that in January a white president will be inaugurated to replace the nation’s first black president.

Addressing the crowd, John D. Podesta, Mrs. Clinton’s campaign chairman and a former aide to President Obama, said, “I don’t just want it to be the first time a white president replaces a black president, but the first time a woman replaces a man president.”

The crowd was silent.

Bottom line, Clinton is not racist against blacks, it's ludicrous to try to imply that with the super-predator comment just like implying she was less pro-gay rights than he was when he voted against DOMA. Bill Clinton tired to compromise with the 'don't ask don't tell', but I don't think for a minute either one of them was anti-gay rights.

Wow. Is this what Hillary voters actually believe? Not that she changed her position on gay rights, but that she was secretly pro-gay rights all along?

And the Crime Bill is not responsible for the school to prison pipeline and the distorted sentencing that keeps the prisons full of blacks.

Well, not the Crime Bill alone. You also need Clinton's welfare reform bill.

Not going to argue this crap except to remind you if you weren't aware, the welfare reform bill was something pushed by the GOP that Clinton compromised on. It wasn't his platform per se.

Like many of the right wing bills than Clinton signed, the welfare reform bill had enough votes that it would have been overridden if Clinton had vetoed it.

In contrast to today, where there is nothing major that the right wingers want that could be passed into law. And same for the foreseeable future. Unless "progressives" turn out to be retarded enough to help Ted Cruz become President. And yet people say that Democrats keep going to the right.

And btw, Bernie voted for the 1994 crime bill.
