Hillary Clinton is Done: part 2

It's really hard to find a picture of her in which she doesn't look like a screeching harpy, isn't it?

Sexist much?

There is a lot of talk about these trade agreements as if they were all corrupt and there was no benefit whatsoever to the average person. It's easy to make a scape goat of the deals, makes Obama and Clinton look bad, suits Sanders' needs.

The Machinists' union here in WA supported Clinton noting Sanders' position on the Import Export Bank hurt Boeing and Boeing provides a big chunk of jobs here in Seattle. It's not all black and white with the manufacturing jobs leaving with the trade agreements. In Seattle's case Boeing manufacturing is doing fine.

Perhaps some of you remember when unions were blamed for the loss of car and steel manufacturing in this country. That wasn't black and white either. But the GOP seized on it and the unions and wages have suffered.

Perhaps the most alarming aspect of this post is the concept that someone (e.g. you?) actually thinks it's witty.

"I support fee speech" is indeed witty.

Jeepers a Hillary fan without a sense of humor? I thought I would never see the day....:D:D

The Illuminati will save Hillary. They will even save Bernie if necessary. Not so sure about Trump's wall. Do The Illuminati want that?

Sexist? What's sexist in my post? The fact that Hillary is a woman? Am I not allowed to comment on something that has nothing to do with her gender without you jumping to the most idiotic conclusion you can find? Seriously, even for you this is quite a low.

Show us somewhere on this forum where you referred to a male as a "screeching harpy".

Show us a comment you posted that Sanders yells/shouts/screams/screeches.

Does calling someone a dick count?

This is such a ridiculous argument, Ginger. I get that you're a cheerleader for Clinton, and I'd rather her than any of the current GOP candidates, but to defend her tooth and nail against any sort of comment or criticism to the point of accusing someone of being a sexist simply for pointing out that every picture of her seems to portray her as a crazy person is beyond the pale.

You should be ashamed of yourself for making such a vile accusation. I call men bad things all the time. Am I a misandrist for doing so?

No, it's not about insulting someone. It's how you insult them and the double standard you apply to women's looks, their voice, their clothes, their weight, all manner of things women get attacked on that men do not.

The only person that should feel shame here is you for not knowing the most basic sexist attacks on powerful women.

I'm not a radical feminist, not a SJW, never sided with the A-plussers or Watson's elevator scolding of men. I wasn't even bothered by the Comet lander scientist's shirt with the naked women on it.

I was bothered by biologist Tim Hunt's comment that he couldn't work with women because they cried when you criticized their work. That was sexist. And criticizing powerful women on their looks is clear cut sexism, no question about it.

Lolz, I wonder if sg is as horrified by all the personal attacks on Trump.

I fortunately am not sexist, I think Hillary is as big a scumbag as any man.

I disagree. H. Clinton does not call men fat pigs, himbos, or other names like Trump has done. She has also never made fun of physically disabled people. I know of one instance where Trump has done that. I will stop now.

When I criticize political candidates or elected politicians, it is because of things they have said or things they have done. I really don't care about their clothing, even if I do wonder why they sometimes wear matching neckties.

Hilarious, since you decided to jump into it earlier.

I see being dishonest and lying to be essentially equivalent, yes.

First you were upset because you thought I said he was stupid. Now that we've established that I never said that, you've shifted to "liar", which I also did not say.

Call it what you will, Travis was being disingenuous. One synonym of that word is dishonest. Dishonest kinda sounds like liar. They all have their subtle differences though, mainly in intent and severity. If you like liar then fine - but more of a white lie.

Thank you for apologizing for misquoting me. Thanks to those who rose to my defense, or whatever.

I don't remember what question you asked of me in the post, I was busy dealing with the misquote. Okay I scrolled down and took a look. You asked about the graphic from Politico. The graphic is rather lacking in information. I believe the graphic said Hillary has told one lie. That's enough for me to just shake my head and laugh. I mean seriously...

1."I remember landing under sniper fire,”...... “with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.”

The video tells a different story. Flat out lie.

Is that the one lie that the graphic is counting?

But you can help Republicans win by voting for someone that has literally a zero percent chance.

Yes, let's vote for Jill Stein, someone who literally cannot win. Then the Republicans will win. Sure to help the progressive cause!

If you literally understood the word literally, you'd literally know that you're literally using it wrong.

I'm going to have to agree with Ginger here, to an extent. Calling someone a screeching harpy (which I know you didn't do outright, but you sure made the comparison) is, IMO, rightfully seen as a sexist comment. I'm sure you didn't mean it as such, but that doesn't change it.

This is without doubt. Admit the sexism Argumemnon and move on.

You're talking out of your ass. There is no double standard. I insult men and women equally. You're just miffed because your support for Clinton has crossed over into fanatacism.

The only person that should feel shame here is you for not knowing the most basic sexist attacks on powerful women.

Oh, I'm sure she feels super threatened by my post. Wonder how she sleeps at night.

First you were upset because you thought I said he was stupid.

I wasn't upset. I made a request.

Now that we've established that I never said that, you've shifted to "liar", which I also did not say.

Sorry about not reading the post thoroughly. But your two choices were stupidity and dishonesty, which won't lead to a very interesting discussion.

Call it what you will, Travis was being disingenuous.

Fine, then. I tried.

If you like liar then fine - but more of a white lie.

Please don't do that. That's just playing with words.

I didn't fact-check them. I know they have a good reputation and that, surprisingly, they seem to disagree with most people's opinion of her, so I asked because my own impressions on Clinton might be wrong.
